That’s because the guy said there is no stock for series 8 Hermes so he found 44m in stock.

Same as before with repair I’d at top. I can send it after the parts come
Tried again they said they can only check for 45mm against my serial. Not sure which chat support has access to 44 as well?

I mean that’s what the support guy is saying. Maybe there’s low/high support levels who have access to override it and those that don’t.
Start a chat and have them set up a call with a senior advisor. I spoke to one earlier on why it's been so hard to get S8 replacement bands. The lady said she could search the band took her 30 sec and she could have set up the process

Tried my S8 serial, S7 serial and S6 serial. He can’t find it at all. Got a call in the morning will see what they say.

It may just not be in stock where I am :/

Whats your location? that is weird
UK, but I also don’t have applecare+. Just realised I didn’t activate it yet :). Seems with AppleCare all accessories including bands that came with it should be covered. I’ll check it out in the morning now.

Size wise the holes are shifted out about one size and they can accommodate a slightly larger wrist.

Source: Attelage lugs add about a size and make my leather bands here the same length as the jumping bands; before swapping all of them with Attelage hardware I’d use one looser hole on the leather bands.

Odd. I have an attelage band and it fits tighter than my normal ones. Could be because it’s the Fauve Barenia and not the Swift leather though and maybe I didn’t break it in enough yet.

The leather on the actual Attelage bands Hermès releases is shorter to account for the lug but they corrected for that too much and it’s overall shorter than a standard leather band anyway. I swapped with the standard leathers so it’s longer and now matches the length of the Jumping bands. The Attelage bands are probably the shortest Hermès makes.

There was a Noir Attelage band for the S6 era with space black hardware that may still be available new from Hermès in some countries or used on eBay every once in a while.

The Blanc Attelage double tour last season already had black hardware but yeah, it requires a specific pentalobe screwdriver to remove the lugs, a standard spring pin remover tool to remove the buckle, and black hardware donated from a Noir (or jumping) band to make the swap.
Sounds too complicated 😶‍🌫️😁

I searched everywhere, but cannot find the attelage hardware. I will post the band on eBay :(

So escalated it to a call with senior support and he couldn't find it. He went away to investigate then called me a few hours later. He said it's an 'in the box' item only and it's impossible to order. I told him other people have been able to etc, and although he was trying his best to help, he said there's no way it can be ordered and he's sure of that after checking with lots of departments.

I give up! It basically means if your band breaks you have to use an Apple one.

I received my shipping notification today, was initially set on Oct. 10 - 17 but now it mentions Wednesday Oct. 5. UPS tracking is the same so earlier than expected :)
Nice!
Maybe they have less of the model I ordered 🙁

It's so looooong 😣 I ordered on the day of pre-orders, but it still hasn't shipped yet. Anyone else in the same situation?

Mine finally shipped yesterday. Ordered on Sept 7.

It’s coming with UPS from Clayton, IN. I’ve never had anything from Apple ship from that warehouse. I’m in Toronto, ON.
