More important is storing them when not in use. Keep in mind that Heat or Cold will cause Hermes leather bands to change their firmness and dry out the leather.
Keeping your band in the original box and pouch it came in will help to keep the leather beautiful

I just ordered a Mint condition S8 Space Black Hermes Watch with the Single Tour Noir leather band, the Bleu de France Swift Leather H Diagonal Single Tour, and the Hermes 45mm Black Sports band.
As penance for enticing me to buy a Hermes, the group will soon be pestered with my "band" questions. 🤷♂️

Some "new" colors I am seeing pop up for Hermes leather goods are Vert Comics (vibrant green) and Bleu Atoll (like turquoise); as well as Rouge Sellier (which we've seen in the Jumping Tour woven bands) in leather. I am hoping this may be an indication of what may come for the spring refresh of bands.
@athousandbands Hi What would you recommend for NYC hot humid summer weather in terms of bands? Stainless? Jumping? Leather?thanks. Also, if anyone else wants to reply. Great.

Warm yellow (Jaune Ambre or Jaune de Naples to keep it with the Italian cities theme of last spring) on a Jumping is all I ask
Sure would be nice for Apple to bring a color like Cuivre to the rubbery bands
Well, thanks to the folks in this thread, and their fabulous pictures, I got a S8 SB Hermes, with the Hermes Back Sport band and 2 leather bands.
As promised earlier, I will soon start pestering the group with questions about bands. Fortunately, it doesn't look like there are many 45mm Hermes bands with Black hardware, so that may limit my questions. In fact, I only see 4, am I correct (1 Sport, 1 Swift, 2 Swift H)? Oh darn, I started with the questions already...

I just got the S8 SB Hermes and this is the one band with black hardware (that I know about) that I don't have. This color looks incredible in the pictures. Is it just as nice in person?

It still hasn’t sunk in that I got this whole kit for so little.
And yes it’s got the perfect amount of red clay richness. More brown indoors.
Remember the forum sucks a little life from the color in a photo. This color and Bleu de France feel like a whole new era of Hermes bands. The “black” color of the microperforations really goes with the Space Black metal.
I’ll have pics of these first two on SBSS coming soon. And I’ve posted the third on ceramic a few times.

As far as I can see, Australia has the same stock as USA via Apple or Hermes. It‘s all 41mm but there doesn’t seem to be anything different about Australian stock.
Yeah i need the 45mm versions for myself and sadly they are not longer available from Apple or Hermes.
Even tried ringing up the Hermes store thats in my State and they pretty much told me once they all sell out they are gone for good.
I have a lightly used black and silver one if you would be interested.
I don't mind the first two. But Rouge Sellier is TOO conservative. Yikes!
Finally decided to buy S8 with Noir Swift Leather with metal double tour.
Too tight for my wrist, had to go Hermes for 2 extra holes.
But it's so gorgeous, totally worth it!
