Hey all I have a 45MM Hermes. The M/L orange sport band is too big. Would the band that comes with the 41MM watch (S/M) fit mine?

It would, but with the caveat that it’s less wide than the 45mm one.
You would definitely notice it.
Somewhere in this thread there’s a reference to a Chinese eBay seller that has the s/m strap for the 45mm though.

I have a brand new one coming tomorrow. Put on my Apple Card. Got rid of one a few years ago and look forward to having one again.

Mine coming tomorrow now :)

I was going to wait for the spring band refresh to get another Jumping, but what the heck, I'll get both...Spring is another month or so away :)

EDIT: Got a good deal too - £349 in the UK, got it on my employer's discount site for £314.40, and paid by an apple voucher that I purchased through same store for 4% off...all in £302...bargain!

@athousandbands i am torn between the Jumping bands and the leather bands as my primary bands. I like the fact I can shower or exercise with the Jumping bands. Also I sweat easily in the summer with high humidity. On the other hand the leather bands are more elegant. Maybe more sophisticated even. I have 3 leather and 3 jumping. I think that might be it unless I get SS band.
So Jaybar and other folks with both Leather and Jumping bands... Which do you wear more often?

Definitely my Jumping band. I wear my black/green jumping 98% of the time, then every day for sports my sports band and then leather just once in a while.
Don’t get me wrong, the leather is just fantastic but the jumping is way easier to wear in different situations (hot, humid, cold).

I wear the leather more often. However I can see the advantages of the jumping for hot/humid weather, exercise and showering. I will probably switch to the Jumping for the not nyc summer weather.

I wear Jumping 95% of the time and the Leather the other 5%. I WFH so don't really wear anything dressy during the day, but occasionally I wear the leather to treat myself and make me smile everytime i look at the time. I have been wearing my Rouge Sellier/Bleu Jumping all winter, and wear the Kraft/Orange in the Summer months. I only have the Gold single tour and the Rouge Circuit H leather bands - I lean more towards the Rouge Circuit H when I wear the leather as it is gorgeous!

Got this damn Link Bracelet to find time for now too :p...First World Problems.....

I have a couple of Hermes leather bands, and today I got my first Jumping Band. The jumping band is comfortable and can be worn in damp/humid weather. It seems like a good band for daily use.

I hope to be able to find one more 45mm jumping band with black hardware. They are hard to find right now. Maybe Apple will release some new ones in 45mm black, next month.

For those interested, I ended up with an extra Hermes bands (post XMAS) I put up in the marketplace (unopened), a 45MM NIB Fauve Barenia Attelage Single Tour and a 45MM NIB Gris Meyer Single Tour. I had wanted to trade it for a Jumping (or maybe an interesting leather band), PM if you want to buy/trade (or respond in the Marketplace).

Just wondering, the jumping look amazing, can anyone speak to how they compare to the NATO bands that apple sold a few years back? I liked the idea of those, but whenever they got wet from hand washing, etc they would take forever to dry, staying moist on your wrist and keeping the area underneath moist as well. Do these “breathe” more? They seem to be made of similar material. Thanks!

I don’t know if this answers you, but after I shower with a Jumping band, it takes a few hours to completely dry. I shower, remove the band from my watch. Place it on a paper towel and put on a different band while the jumping one is drying. I have three jumping and three leather bands and the Hermes sport band, so swapping is never an issue. If one just purchased the Watch with only a jumping band then drying time might be an issue. I never had the NATO bands so I cannot compare.

They take some time to dry. I place mine in a window sill in the sun, if possible, to expedite the process. Comparison wise, I still have some of those original nylon Apple bands -- Apple's version is thinner and a lot "flimsier" as compared with Hermes', which are thicker and sturdier.

Hello Hermes Owners! I just finally picked up my very first Hermes Apple Watch in Space Black and really love it. Someone locally was selling at a great price but it came with the Gris Meyer Single Tour leather band. I haven't opened the new band yet because I'm not sure how the silver lugs will go with the watch. Are there any SB owners here who have tried this color combination who can chime it? Wondering if I should keep this band, or if it might be a good idea to sell/trade for something with matching black hardware. TIA, Danny.

PS; been loving all of the pics and customizations I've seen in this thread. Much appreciated!

A while ago, I posted a photo of my SB Hermes with a band that had silver hardware. Not an issue for me.

Thanks jaybar, I think it's the band's color that mostly determines if it looks right. At least that's my general feeling. I'll likely go ahead and open up the box to at least test-fit it to see for myself. I just don't know how much that affects it's value to others, should I decide it isn't for me. Probably not much tho.

I appreciate your response.

Some people get obsessed about having band hardware absolutely match the Watch type (SB or silver). Some get obsessed with monetary value, trade in, or scratches. Some just enjoy the watch without being concerned and just focus on the joy or enhanced value the watch brings. Some focus on the health aspects. Some are anxious. Some are chill. There is no definitive way to Approach the AW. Everyone is different.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I fall under "all the above" haha. But I just showed it to my wife and she gives it a 10 out of 10. So it's for sure I'm keeping it. Mostly, I just enjoy the watch. I'm pretty tough on mine because we're active and we're dog lovers. My Doodle (Sam) sometimes gets his teeth on them when he's playful. I just carry AppleCare+ and roll with it. Life's too good not to ;). Just a little extra conservative with the brand new Hermes at the moment.
