Defintely not feeling the new bands this season. So sad though, because I've been excited for a spring release. I managed to find a Rouge Sellier/Bleu Sapphir Jumping Tour on the Hermes site over the weekend and love it. But the Casque bands just look... cheap to me for some reason.
All the leather bands seem to be recycled colors too. Guess my wallet is happy until September release!

And very disappointing for those of us with the Black Hermes. None of the new bands have black lugs/buckles. My wallet likes this though. It won't get emptied out today. 😅
I might have pulled the trigger on the Rose Azalée Casaque had it been in a 45 but the other colorway is just not for me. It feels very 1980s “Preppy” and not in a good way.
I can't remember the last time I liked a band that Apple released. No new Nike bands either. At least I've saved a bunch of money.
I know we had rumors of the Hermes partnership being discontinued last September, but this refresh kind of makes it feel like it could still happen in the future. No space black options, no new Jumping tours and recycled leather bands.
I don't necessarily want to keep investing in Hermes bands if future Apple Watch series will lose the Hermes edition. Guess we'll find out over time!

The partnership has “rumored” to be ending right before every new drop, at this point with no other “Edition” watches I figure it’s here to stay though. If anything, with the loss of Edition watches it’s a stronger relationship as Apple isn’t competing with them at the luxury level anymore.
And also, if the partnership ends it’s not like any current bands you have suddenly disappear or are any less nice.

The Casaque bands look like the Hermes version of the “renaissance fair” split tone sport loops from the S7 era. Not a fan.

Picked up the Rouge H/Bleu Saphir Casaque Single Tour. We’ll see if I keep it though. The nylon bands are nice for everyday life though.
I am noticing that Spring Refreshes have been minimal, at best, across the board. No new Ultra bands (and that watch *just* came out), etc. I do not think this is any indication that the Hermes partnership is ending. Per my previous post from a recent F/W 23 presentation, Hermes is planning AirPod cases. It could very well just be that the real stars of the lineups will be in conjunction with new watch models (i.e., we will see more range in the fall).

I think I might get the Rose Azalée since I'm such a big fan of pink colors. This is what Hermes fans call Barbie Pink! 😍
I was looking for a vibrant pink (fuchsia), but missed out on Rose Mexico. Lighter pink might work well for my wardrobe. More subtle. But I need to give it a few more days.

Some might consider this sacrilege (hope Hermés don’t sue me 😉) but I mixed up two Double Tours today to make Ambre/Craie/Argile. Not sure how I log this in Bandbreite now though 🤔
Reminds me of the joke where a guy mixes two different pairs of socks and claims “and I have another pair just like it at home”.
This an interesting look and very unique. I’m thinking there could be a lot of combinations that will work well together when mixed like this.
The spring collection is a bit underwhelming. Like others have said, the nylon casaque doesn’t look very refined? Especially compared to the first edition of the blue/orange jumping tour.
And why is there only a leather casaque in a double tour? Might’ve bought a single tour version…
Overall glad that I’m not tempted by any of the new bands and can save myself some $
