They are thicker, but not by much. Like with all the Hermès straps they are very comfortable and hugs the wrist as good as the Swift.
Thanks for the info. It sounds like both types of bands are viable for me then. Now I just need to figure out what color leather I want/need. I'd like to buy one more leather band for my Space Black S8 watch.
I have the Black Swift, a Bleu De France Diagonal H, a 3rd party dark brown leather, and a 3rd party Indigo/Craie/Orange Swift band. In short, I seem to the colors black, blue, and dark brown covered.
I thought about the Orange Swift, but I worry a little bit about a Halloween look. Maybe a mid-tone brown, grey would look good with the black case? I'm willing to swap out lugs if certain band colors come with silver hardware. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
I find it hard to buy bands without a Hermes store in town. And, there aren't too many (non mock-up) pictures of bands with a black case on the web. Most pics are with the Silver Stainless case. But thankfully there is this thread. I appreciate folks that post pictures in this thread because it does help us folks that can't see bands in person. 🙏
