I’m sure Apple could engineer a new wallet with full AirTag functionality though; something like the Chipolo Card Spot could easily fit into the dimensions of the backing of the current Wallet; perhaps have a tiny rechargeable battery (as long as it lasts at least a couple months it should be good) able to use the reverse wireless charging like the MagSafe Battery does? Seems possible with Apple R&D.

They’d probably price it like $99 minimum though and I doubt many would buy it without other upgrades seeing as even the current MagSafe Wallet only holds three cards but four cards is generally what most folks need at minimum. Those full AirTag features and the ability to hold four cards would be game changing though; I’d definitely buy one if they managed it.

Makes me wonder, how many cards does the Hermès wallet hold? I have a feeling that it only holds one card lol.

I wish the notification for when you detach the MagSafe wallets came through to your Apple Watch instead of just on the iPhone.
90% of the time i dont even hear/see that notification because my phone is always in my pocket....

Another new arrival: Bleu Saphir/Orange. I’m really not sure why I passed on this band so many times before now because it’s fantastic. One of the few Apple Watch bands I’ve seen where pictures don’t really do it justice. I generally don’t wear bright colored bands but I expect this one will be in heavy rotation this summer!

SB S8 Hermes Watch with new Hermes Orange Swift Band:

Here is a picture with the standard silver hardware on the black watch. Would black hardware look better? I wish I had extra black hardware sitting around. If anyone else has already tried both silver and black hardware on a black watch, please let me know your thoughts.

I think you will get different opinions from different people here. I am very firmly in the “no mismatched metals under any circumstances” camp. But I bet most people looking at your watch wouldn’t even notice. If you like it, that’s all that really matters!

I finally figured out how to swap the hardware on the Hermes bands. Yea for youtube videos!!!

So I swapped the hardware on 2 of my jumping bands. I have a black watch, and I think the silver hardware really brightens up the jumping grey/black band, and I think the black hardware goes better on the red jumping band (with the black watch).

I'm not against mixing silver and black hardware, but the Grey/Black jumping band with black hardware, on the black watch just looked to dull for me. This small change helps a bit.

You will need to get the proper screwdriver and connector bar pry tool. I got these for $9 off ebay. I used the video below to show me how to make the buckle and connector swap.

I prefer the SB, but I think the majority of AW Hermes owners have the Silver watch. Most of the Hermes bands come with silver connectors and buckle too.

Anyone know which lug replacement screws work with the Hermes Jumping bands? Not sure if they’re universal. My two month old band had two lug screws loose on the top band somehow, and of course I lost one.

I ended up returning my silver stainless because I thought it was just too shiny. I mean I loved it so much at first, but after awhile I noticed how often I was staring at my watch. I’ve realized I’m more a fan of subdued, stealthy & classy. I now wear a natural titanium series 7 and the black Hermes. It’s just right for me. I often use the silver SS Link bracelet with the titanium, and the SB Link with the Hermes. Both feel wonderful.

But it certainly is a subjective opinion. I’m pretty sure most folks would be happy with either.

Where do you guys keep your Hermes bands ? I currently keep them all in their own box, buy is too much work. Does anyone have a nice box where you can put all together. I have 14 Hermes leather bands.
