Thanks for the replies. I have a 41mm Series 7. Is the Hermes band shorter if in the smaller size? I think it will probably fit but I’m just keen to avoid too much spare strap and that’s why I’m interested in the actual length, rather than the wrist size it supposedly fits.

I’ve been out of the Hermés world since the Ultra came out. Found a good deal on the S8 and I’m back and loving it.
I am finally joining the club with a SS S8 with Ebene Deployment buckle!
I went to order a 41mm Bambou band, but it says “Delivery: Currently Unavailable,” and no area stores have it in stock. The color is no longer available on ther Hermès site.
Did I wait too long and missed out? 😭
In your experience, does that verbiage on the site listing mean it will restock? Apple chat/message rep wasn’t helpful.

was showing as available through Apple and soon as i built up enough Apple store credit and i went to order it, it was showing now as unavailable

Lanyard
Nice! Just picked up a blue Lin lanyard. Now we need the MagSafe wallet.
I’ve been checking every other day on Hermès websites across the world (China, Taiwan, HK, UK, FR, AU, etc) and it’s still not available
I do wish Hermes sold the AirPods case cover without the added lanyard as I would likely never use the lanyard and it may help reduce the already hefty price tag. The cover looks gorgeous, though, and I read that it was thin enough to allow MagSafe charging while on the case.
I actually like the pods lanyard, looks great for travel. I sometimes get annoyed of using pods cases with belt/bag clips.
Anywho I casually browsed the Hermes site and saw 45mm Blanc band is back and had to get it. I wear the indigo/craie/orange combo one probably the most of all the bands since it came out for S4. Craie is french for chalk. Going to be fun to go blanc with bright wear.

I decided to give a call to Apple (sales) to just enquire about the Hermes Bleu de France H Diagonal Single Tour band and if there is any small chance it will ever come back into stock with Apple....and i was not expected to be treated with that kind of rude attitude i received i must admit.
Ive normal had all great friendly customer service experiences with Apple but maybe this dude was having a bad day or something?
Kept cutting me off mid sentences and telling me 'these are Hermes...not sure if you know what Hermes is but once you see it buy it or when its gone forget about it etc'
First of all bought the colours i truly wanted being Noir & Cuivre with the Bleu left as a last option just to complete the Space Black Hardware as i am not a big fan of blue colours in general.
The Cuivre band had become unavailable for a while through Apple AU but eventually they came back into stock so i was thinking the same chance maybe with the Bleu.
If it is permanently gone just remove it all together Apple please and DONT leave it there hanging online with just a greyed out Add to Card tab :/
Wish i could have used my Apple account balance through Hermes AU but unfortunately they only accept Apple Pay, only through Apple i could have used my saved up funds (from Apple Gift cards).

When you guys got your leather bands repaired from Hermes for the fraying separating sides, did they do it for free? I assumed it was free as part of their service but they hit us with a $90 charge - mind you, this was after the fact, after it was sent to France for repairs and came back. Like, I felt tricked? Why didn’t they tell me the charge up front so I can make a decision whether to get it done or not?
Also the Hermes manager was so rude! Makes me not want to deal with Hermes again.

These extreme luxury brand workers are taught to look down on their customers. Doing so causes a reaction where you feel a need to prove a point. That point is often buying more from them.
Also, a frequent shopper at Hermes will not care about transparency of $90.
Not saying any of this is right from the customer service to lack of transparency but it seemingly is part of the ultra luxury brand experience. And Hermes is often considered in the top two of the French luxury houses.
