Quick question for you guys with the Single Tour bands and the Single Tour Deployment Buckle bands.

If you could order your Hermes again, which band would you have chosen? Is the Deployment Buckle worth the extra $250?

I can’t decide what I would do for my next upgrade. Maybe get a different color/style or spring the extra money for the Deployment. I hate how the Deployment is a package only deal with the watch.

I would never choose the Deployment because it's too big for my wrist. If it would fit your wrist, it's a sharp band, but it's a large band, too.

I may buy one of the Medor single tour bands. I'd buy a Rallye if they made it. Or maybe the Eperon d'Or.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
I am very happy with my deployment buckle. I specifically chose the model with it because I have a similar deployment buckle on my Rolex and I like that type of band. So when I decided to buy an Apple Watch Hermes addition, I chose the model with the deployment. I have the barenia 42mm

I really like my deployment buckle but the perfect fit for my arm is somewhere between two holes. So (depending on my daily arm size o_O) it either fits or is a bit too loose. The Single Tour (I have 3: Feu, Colvert and Barenia) always fits perfectly. But this is just my arm.

To answer your question: I love how the deployment buckle works and I would choose it again.

This is my biggest concern. While I love the concept of the Deployment, based on what I’ve read and the pics posted, the Deployment looks quite large depending on the size of the wrist it’s worn on. My wrists are average, I wear the M/L sport band option.

Another concern with the Deployment is the bulge on the underside of the wrist and if there is any discomfort, though I have yet to see anyone describe any discomfort with any of these bands.

To give you some context: I wear the last or second last hole on the M sport bands and the middle hole (4/7) on the deployment buckle.

I wear the M/L sport band on the last hole and the M/L Hermes leather on the last hole. The Deployment would not fit me at all.

I wear three down on the sport band, so sounds like the Deployment would work for me.

Do you all ever get annoyed with the under wrist hump? And still worth the extra $250?

It does not annoy me and I find the hump very minimal. And yes it's still worth the extra $250 to me I am just very partial to a deployment buckle as I indicated in my last post.

Good question indeed. I own both a Hermès Series O and Series 3. Latter with the deployment buckle an both with the Barenia Fauve strap.

To be very honest the implementation of the Hermès deployment buckle is completely wrong. Just because of one reason as you can not change the strap. I own several vintage IWC's all with deployment buckles but that makes sense as I can change strasp within 30 secs. With the Hermeès you can not take the strap from the buckle. IMHO a great design fault !

So my advise: don't buy the deployment buckle as a future investment, but buy it because if gives additional comfort and less wear on the leather. :)

1: not at all
2) is an Apple Watch Hermès worth 1150-1400 bucks ?:)

So I ordered a replica Feu Epsom from Taobao just now.

It’s a Chinese only platform and I’m glad I can put my rusty Chinese to use haha

I chatted with the seller and he can’t confirm on the chat on Taobao that the buckle will definitely have a Hermès branding on it but he sort of gave me a wink emoji implying that they will.

He also said he’ll shorten the strap for me as I told him the official 42mm single tour is one hole too long for me.

Will post again when I receive it probably in 3 to 4 weeks.
Really can't wait for any pics, in the mean time I should improve my Chinese :D

Just picked a used single deployment for $400 off CL and now having buyers remorse cause it’s too nice to wear everyday. I usually wear my steel Link bracelet everyday so it’s hard to leave that. Can I also get a legit check please yeah I know I’m suppose to do it before I buy but I’m a idiot and impulsive buyer

I'm not a fan of knockoffs, but the photos from that site got me wondering how the two compare.

Don’t worry guys my knockoff from Taobao just landed in my local airport. Should have it in a week and will definitely post lots of pics :)

Mission accomplished, the Feu Epsom came today :)

From top to bottom: Fauve Barenia, Indigo Swift and Feu Epsom. Last seems to have a thickest leather. Fauve Barenia is definitely thinnest.

I will have exactly the same three bands as you! Minus the knock off Feu Epsom :)
