I think it's the blue one 🤔 after adjusting color balance, it becomes blue, the other brown one is still brown.
Found a couple more photos after a deep dive. Etain leather mats were a very real thing!

Also seems highly unlikely they’d bring the Hermes face to Ultra unless Hermes faces are widely distributed like Nike and no more Hermes watch.
My thoughts exactly. Hermes bands only? If they’ve indeed scrapped SS and/or the smaller size I could why no more dedicated Watch?

Thinking about it, I don’t think they are going to discontinue just the small bands – if Apple is going to go through the trouble of breaking compatibility, I would wager they would go ahead and “rip off the Band-Aid “ and break compatibility across the board, e.g. the rumored magnetic attachment system. that is to say, if the small bands are discontinued, they all are IMO.

If 41mm only sticks around with the SE, all “one size” (sport loop, milanese, etc.) 42mm+ bands will need new S/M options as the current 45mm o/s options will be too large for small wrists. The 45mm solo bands were more recently made available in sizes 1-3 after launching with only sizes 4-12, which lends more to the rumor.

Or 41mm goes away anyway with the new SE using the same lugs and sizing as the new Series but it’s plastic and has a larger bezel and is missing features.

We’ll find out on Monday!

Just a reminder that it also took Hermès some time to update its website with the leather bands after the live announcement by Apple ended last year.

Also, for US customers, I noticed Hermès website says their distribution centers are closed Monday and Tuesday. That means bands ordered will likely not arrive until Friday the earliest (provided they ship with 2-Day FedEx, as they’re accustomed to do).
Does anyone remember what the prices were for the Hermes with leather band. I think they were only available from Hermes directly right?

Gurman is reporting that the Hermes relationship with Apple may be over and that they are going to be a Jacquemus Apple Watch moving forward. I really hope that is not the case.

Edit: he retweeted it, sorry for the misinformation. He didn’t directly report it.

assuming Hermes had a 10 year contract with Apple they'd still have time to go before that expired or renewed. That's a big assumption though.

I'd guess it means they probably helped with the ad re: costume department.

Apple feels like the kind of company to be strict enough not to allow this kind of teaser for a collaboration that big.

Whatever it is, we'll find out in about 5 hours. Apple's probably got something huge to announce, after all, it's the 10th anniversary.

It obviously means something. Maybe another edition for that brand? I’d be shocked if Hermes went away though.
Does Jacquemus do watches? Could not find any on their website, but maybe they were taken down like Hermes does before a launch.

Jacquemus do not make watches. They are a very young and very limited fashion label (shoes and handbags). My guess is it will be a joint collaboration with Nike (given Jacquemus and Nike got together in 2022), with Tim Cook being on the Nike board of directors.

There is also no mention of watches, so it could be anything like phone cases (FineWoven replacement or the advancement of leather goods replacements), or Apple/Nike/Jacquemus running shoes to complement Apple Fitness, or AirTag holders for purses (like Hermès).

I don't think Apple/Hermès is going away.

If Hermes is indeed over, RIP. I've quite liked my better bands and faces. Hopefully there's a new partnership or a smaller Ultra if so.

If not, off to eBay for a S9 SS!
