Yes they recommend not using any products at all and take it in to a Hermès shop for conditioning.
But I’ve use Kiwi leather conditioner to clean it with no problems (it won’t protect it as such). Fauve Barenia gets dark very quickly with normal use and the conditioner will make the process even faster.
I also moved from SS Series 0 Space Black Link bracelet to the Hermes Single Tour. Battery life is great, but really haven't started using the apps more. The Hermes face and band is very nice though.
I believe most people grapple with the limited band “compatibility” with Space Black. I owned one for a couple of weeks. It’s got a great look to it. But the SS is far more “universal” given that most of the “premium” bands utilize the SS lugs (or whatever they’re called). So I returned the SBSS and purchased the Hermès. Happy I did.
Anyone got any suggestions as to how I can clean my strap. My apparently low-quality hoodies seem to have deposited ink on it.
I would take it into a Hermes store (if there is one near you) and ask them to clean it for you.
Half way through March and I'm eagerly waiting to see if Apple will release spring/summer Hermes bands like they did last year.

How did you tell her you wanted a deployant. It mentions a category called "other specifications" but there is no deployment listed. 2). you said you got shipping for 10 dollars. How? When I try to put in overseas shipping (using a translator), it asks 200 yuan which is about 30 USD. Did you get a tracking number?
3). Lastly, did the deployment include the "stainless steel" engraving like on the real one?

1). I use the app and there’s a button at the bottom where you can message the seller. I think there’s a similar symbol on the website you can click on
2). You don’t pay postage until you’ve bought it and the package has arrived at the local depot. You then get a message telling you to combine different packages (if you bought more than just the strap from other sellers). You then confirm whether you want it posted to your address or a local pick up point (depends if your city has little Chinese stores that’s affiliated with the delivery company). I live in Sydney Australia and postage costed me USD10. Not sure if it’s more to the US.
There’s detailed tracking on the website. Both within China and once it got to Australia

Also, where is the deployment option? Do I tell the seller and she gives me some code or something?

Re deployment, just message her telling her you want the butterfly clasp/deployment buckle and she will send you a link to pay the additional for the clasp. She charged me RMB 50 extra so all up RMB 449.
