I’m on business in San Francisco and the Apple Store in Union Square had the Hermès Single Tour in stock and I bought it. She told me Apple usually would honor a return last 30 days but she couldn’t guarantee it. I might just give it to my wife when I get back on Friday from my trip as an early Mother’s Day gift. Apple was able to give me the Hermès bag as well.

Congrats! What does the receipt say? Standard return period is only 14 days and that’s more reliable than what a random employee told you.

I finally couldn't resist and bought the indigo/rouge H rallye band - Here are some pics.

Not 100% sold on it. Also not sure if I could wear this to work... It looks a bit too casual?

Apple return policy is 14 days. I’ll probably give it to her Friday when I get back to NY.

Your band is nice and I honestly think in the office it’s appropriate. It’s not a loud color.

My Fauve Barenia knockoff from Taobao just arrived and it is amazing just like the Feu Epsom.

The leather smells, feels and looks like the genuine band that Apple and Hermès sell. I also asked for a deployment buckle and it is much better quality than I expected. I don’t have the genuine version to compare but I don’t think it’s far off.

Photos below. The knockoff is on the watch itself. I bought the genuine single tour back in October so it’s developed a patina over 3 months. I’ll use the knockoff from now on!

Would you mind posting a picture of the site with the option you chose as I’m lost lol Just want the non deployment version in 42mm. Thanks in advance

So my wife loves the Apple Watch but exchanged the Hermes one for a regular stainless steel. She didn’t like the Hermès face since it didn’t take advantage of the complications and felt it wasn’t worth spending that much more for the orange sport band and custom face. She felt if she wanted the dressy watch, she has the Cartier I got her for our 5th anniversary and most of the time she dresses down for her job.

I’m not complaining, she saved me $600 :)

The main difference is the Hermès leather strap which are hand made in France / Switzerland.

I personally love how elegant the Hermès watch faces are. If I want complications or more info, I just do a quick swipe for a modular or sports watch face and then quickly swipe back.

Yes she did weigh the fact she can still buy a Hermès band separate down the road. Now I have an idea for another gift eventually :)

I think I'm gonna return the indigo rallye... It’s gorgeous but I don’t think the style suits me. And I want to get an additional hole punched but there doesn’t seem to be enough space between the last hole and the actual rallye opening.

My local Hermes still has the colvert swift in stock - What does everyone think of this colour?

I copied a pic another member has posted of this a while back.

UPDATE - So after having the watch for a good two weeks, I've realized 3 things. 1) I LOVE HERMES. haha. 2) Like with every leather good, Hermes or not, moisture is not a friend. I wore the Rallye during a warm day and I guess the leather got a bit moist so the inside of the strap darkened ever so slightly. If you are living in a hotter climate, you may have to take this into consideration. The orange sport band? perfection. That can take a beating and I feel more comfortable wearing that cause I know it is so durable. and lastly 3) Stainless Steel whether it is as expensive as AP, Franck Muller or Rolex or as inexpensive as a $40 watch from Amazon, are all prone to scratches, especially the Apple Watch Hermes. I mean, I knew that it will happen, but I was shocked at how soon it got scratches. I AM VERY CAREFUL with my watches, and since the Hermes is my newest baby, I took extra time to be aware of my surroundings as to not bang it up and what not. HOWEVER, even with all of my precautions, there are definitely visible hairlines on the side. It bums me out but I guess that's just the way it goes. I wish that in the future Hermes editions, Apple will do what Cartier does for the Santos line and make it brushed stainless steel so that the wear and tear wont be as obvious. Does anyone polish their apple watch? if so, what do you use? Thanks

I've also been extremely careful with my watch. I haven't had any scratches, but even just resting it on its side while charging made so many scuff marks that the side of the watch went from shiny to almost matt. I bought some Cape Cod polishing cloths from Amazon and a small amount of rubbing and polishing made it like new again.

Cape cod cloths will buff and polish most minor scratches out and it will look good as new.

Yes just rub back and forth and the hairline scratches should disappear. Then clean the excess oil from the watch with a tissue or something and it’ll be good as new!
Second the Cape Cod cloths. With the regular SS watches I recommend using a Cape Cod cloth every few months, it removes those slight scratches and brings that good as new shine back to the watch!

Reviving this thread in anticipation of the Hermès Series 4!

Hopefully they’ll release new leather bands with maybe the copper/gold stainless steel? Or even better have a ceramic/titanium Hermès Edition combo?

Selling my S3 Hermès... Is USD720 a good price?

I really hope they don’t go with the ‘gold’ colour for Hermès....I’m probably going back to Hermès for this year but if only option was gold colour I’d have to rethink

A special edition only round Hermès Watch would make perfect sense and one reason to pay such a premium. I definitely want a high end series 4 but always end up leaning toward the ceramics. Feels like I get a little more for my money than a band and a face.

Keep the square ones around but make the Hermès and edition round exclusives. Assuming that there is a round of course. Pure speculation on my part.
