As an avid long term Hermes client, I would not trust an Hermes SA to know what they are talking about on basically any topic, least of all Apple items. Are you suggesting that you looked at a 41 Bleu de France Kilim single Tour band in person? The Hermes store would not have that item yet (as it is a series 10 item) and it doesn't come in that configuration anyway (size 46 only). Perhaps you viewed the Celeste Kilim band which is a more robins egg blue and a series 9 release? On pricing, the 42 is 1249, 46 is 1299, and Ultra 2 is 1399. Sounds like he was very confused on all these different sizes and offerings. Regardless, the smaller watch size will NOT have a compatible band in the new bleu de France kilim band.
Yes it was the series 9 and he said he had it in stock to sell me last night and you are correct it was probably the Celeste but he called it the Bleu de France, and said it would be in the 42 and 46, I had to correct him that I thought it would only be in the 46. I quickly learned he actually had no clue about what he was offering, the only thing I think he may have been correct on is that he would not have the series 10 and series 10 bands till well after the 20th and maybe not till mid October. I actually tried on in the store the 41 blue Kilim Single Tour to see how it felt and it I would like it. I had almost considered before going in that I might buy the series 9 since I liked it and currently have a SS9 Graphite that I am not trading. But with him not sounding too sure about what he was talking about I figured I would wait till Friday when I pick up my new Titanium gold to see if I liked the new series 10.

Has anyone heard if the Hermès version has a specific finish like the other titanium colors, or is it just polished titanium?

I am fortunate to live in Las Vegas where we have several Hermes Stores and they all offer the Apple Watch. I was in the Wynn Resort last night and stopped in the Hermes store. They were still selling the Series 9 and he said they actually had a lot of stock of the 9. They were not in a stop sale as of yet but said most likely Friday or early next week they will need to pull them from their case and ship back to Apple but just the watches. I looked at a 41 Bleu de France Kilim Single Tour. I knew the price for the 41 should be $1249 he tried to tell me it was $1399, he also tried to tell me this blue was going to be in both sizes for the 10. I said to him "Are you sure?" I asked him to relook at pricing for the Series 9 he wanted to sell me, and sure enough it was $1249. On Friday I am picking up my new Gold Titanium at our Apple Store but I think for my birthday in November I will treat myself to the 42 Beton Kilim Single Tour. Unfortunately I think one may need to be very aware of pricing when shopping in the Hermes Store. It was obvious I knew more about the watches than the person selling the watches. Maybe he was more in the know of the Berkin Bags of which they only had one on display and no Kellys of any size. He did state it could take a few weeks before they had a lot of stock for the series 10 and for the bands but by mid October should be fully stocked.
Yeah, the SAs at Hermes stores are more knowledgable about fashion and leather goods, than the Apple Watch. And rightly so because their commissions are tied to the goods they sell.

Indeed, various Strip resorts have Hermes stores onsite. As these Hermes boutiques specialize in all the clothing, bags and bracelets and not just the Apple Watches, they do not detail anything specific within the watches; only on the leather colors.

So is anyone in this thread getting their S10 Hermès tomorrow? Keen to see if the new silver polished Ti case is similar to the old SS case, and if the increase in display area is noticeable.
Hopefully someone from New Zealand or Australia ordered one for delivery tomorrow. I want to see too.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Going to be getting the email it shipped soon. Just got for proof of my AppleCare + purchase on my new watch and iPhone.

First time I purchased applecare+ on the watch because Apple and Hermes cut the warranty to 1 year and I figure whoever buys my watch next year will want another year of warranty.

I'm curious. Which series watch and which iPhone are you upgrading from?
I'm thinking 3 years is a good number, don't know how/what others' thoughts are on this issue.

I don’t think so. I ordered direct from Hermes. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when I should expect to be able to pick up the watch from the boutique

Well….. Upgrading from Series 9 SBSS 45mm Hermes and iPhone 15pro max

I have always upgraded them both every year as I have someone who buys my iPhone every year and then I get monthly reimbursement for personal call phone use for work purposes so it ends up costing me $0 in the long run for the phone.

As for the watch I sell it only with the Hermes sports band on eBay or sometimes to a forum member. This year had no interest from the forum on the watch so I sold it on eBay.

Both are my guilty pleasure and I figure why not treat myself to something I enjoy so much…..

I’m normally an annual upgrader for iPhone but I’m skipping this year. Holding out for the 17

I’m upgrading from an SS S4

Last year the white titanium iPhones had a PVD coating to give it the steel light colour, wondering if the Hermes this year has the same.
Natural titanium is warmer. Maybe it's an alloy to get the colour and can be polishable.

Is the new Hermes natural titanium? Aka. can it be buffed out for scratches?
It’s polished silver titanium. Don’t know if it can be buffed out yet with cape cod cloths because it hasn’t been released and I’m not sure Apple ever did a polished silver titanium since this finish is unique to the Hermes model

Most mechanical watch cases I've seen in Ti are either sandblasted, brushed or have a coating, so my gut feeling is all 3 finishes are PVD (including Silver Titanium). I've read Ti tarnishes more readily than SS.

I’ve more or less decided to cancel my previous order (42mm natural titanium) but need some final tips to help me make up my mind on which strap to go with the Hermés Edition watch. I plan to add more straps to my collection over time, but I want to start with one that I’ll actually wear. I’d prefer to go with a leather strap, but since Apple doesn’t sell them anymore and I don’t want to deal with Hermés directly (in case of any issues with the watch), I’ll probably buy one later as an extra.

The Toile H Simple Tour (Gold/Écru) caught my eye, but it's sold out with a mid-November delivery, and I really don’t want to wait that long. Not a fan of the Double Tour straps, and the Twill Jump Attelage Simple Tour looks a bit too feminine for my taste (or what do you think?). That leaves the Kilim Simple Tour strap. Rubber feels more like a casual summer material to me, so I’m debating how much I’d use it this year (maybe a bit in the coming weeks, when it's still a bit warm). Thinking of going with black or orange, but since the watch already comes with an orange strap, black might be the better choice. Would love the blue one, but it's not available for the 42mm watch case.

Also, are there any folks from the Nordics (especially Sweden) active in this thread? Do you have any experience with the Hermés Edition being sold in-store on release day in previous years? Apple Support couldn’t confirm if the Hermés Edition will be in-store tomorrow. Really hoping the H Simple Tour will be available for pick-up, but I’m guessing that’s unlikely.

Appreciate your help! :)

This may seem like a regurgitation of this entire thread for the past 12 months, so all apologies in advance, but the Kilim is the way to go.

My noir Kilim has been the most used band by far this entire year (I also have two Hermès leathers and two Hermès Jumpings, along with two dozen Apple bands). The versatility is unbeatable as a daily driver. I've worn it to the office, fancy dinner, pool, hiking, business lunch, playground with the kids, etc.

I haven't worn it with a suit, but I believe you could with the noir or navy. Also, the Kilim is still a great option during the winter months, so long as you aren't fixing power lines after a blizzard or anything like that.

The deployment takes some time getting used to comfort-wise, if you're not familiar with it (I had to get used to my Fauve Barenia Deployment as my first Hermès band). But after a short period of time, you forget about it.

Post pics of whatever you decide to get, and good luck.

100% agree with this. Have 3 kilims and they are my most used bands (having multiple leather Hermes bands and Apple Milanese loop, link bracelet, and other Apple bands). Ordered beton kilim with the series 10 and I think it’ll be very versatile, much like the black or navy. Will replace my blanc kilim which is my least used kilim and which I’ll likely sell. Just prefer tan to the bright white colorway. Good luck w the decision!
