I grabbed a Series 10 Hermes with the Blue de France Kilim band. I’ll primarily wear it with the sport loop though because it’s better for workouts.

Quick impressions:
- Watch feels light and obviously much lighter then Ultra 2
- Easily noticed the thinness compared to my series 7
- Bezels are much more obvious than the 7
- Battery is dropping fast but could be due to initial day 1 setup

I’ve worn it about an hour now around the house and there multiple visible scratches on the titanium finish. I don’t mind this, but just reporting what I am seeing.

Gonna give it a few days. I’m still torn between keeping this or my Ultra 2.
You think they can be buffed out? Its funny bc I polish the watch once every year lol

Honestly not sure, but I don’t usually polish my watches. I liked the patina on my SS watches. Wasn’t sure how the polished titanium would fare…

Nice Feedback. I agree with your quick impressions.

I'm surprised to hear about the Ti scratching already.

I got the Jet Black Aluminum S10 today. While it is a fingerprint magnet, I haven't seen any micro scratches yet. Maybe the shiny silver color reflects the micro-scratches more than the dark black?

Ah - Doorbell. It looks like my Hermes Blue de France Kilim band has arrived. Great timing...

Can you post photos of the Blue de France Kilim? Interested in seeing real life photos vs the marketing photos on Apple.com.

This is super useful info. Quick question, do you prefer the “look” of the series 7 shape? The reviews have noted that it looks like an Apple Watch but to me the shape is pretty different.

Is it only me, or do they match perfectly colour wise? Of course, I'm just seeing a photo so the colours might not be accurate, but what do you think when looking at them in real life compared to having the bracelet/loop on the previous gen watch? :)
I really have to hunt to spot any differences. I can see it in some lighting situations, e.g. direct sunlight, but even then it is very slight (Ti looks a tad warmer).

Otherwise, the milanese matches perfectly, even the lugs look flush to me.

The link bracelet is not quite as ‘perfect’, which I suppose makes sense as it was designed for a watch 4mm smaller. The color mismatch is not a problem since it’s brushed and already doesn’t match, even on a SS Case.

Thank you! I myself have an s7 titanium in 41. I honestly love the look and feel especially with bands like the Kilim. It just goes so well. I wanted to upgrade this year to the Hermes because I love the watch faces (lucky horse especially). But the shape is holding me back a bit!

Your report on scratches might hold be back too but watches do scratch and they have to be worn. I was told similar about the original titanium but honestly was so unnoticeable. I wonder if polished titanium is a whole other ball game.

What’s the color like on the bleu de France? Is it like the marketing? Or is it a lighter color like what we saw on the eBay leak?

Hopefully Drew can post some pictures of his new Kilim band. In the meantime, here are a couple of mine. One shot includes the Swift Bleu de France for comparison.

Here's a few photos of the green band I took at the Chicago store. It looked better in another poster's pictures vs. real life (IMHO), so I went with the Torsade in navy.

The Torsade is a much darker blue than in Apple's photos, and I liked it much more than I expected to. It feels like woven nylon, not cloth. I found it more comfortable than the other Hermes bands I tried on.

Yes, the color is a very rich deep blue, but not dark like Navy. I think Drew's picture shows the color more accurately than my shots.
The blue on this Kilim is definitely bold and very rich and reminds me of the electric blue leather band apple had for one of their generations. I love Blue when so bold on its own, but found that that electric blue leather band color was too bold to wear with most outfits if matching was something I was looking for. Whereas the Navy kilim, which I have now, is much more subdued and I can where it almost with anything, even dress it up dare I say.

I will hold off on this brighter blue kilim for now, but that rich color is tempting!

I can see that 100%. If I was still working, I could see opting for the Navy, as it would go with more business attire. I'm retired now and live in a sunny casual place. I can wear a bold blue band easily here.

Ah ok got you. Totally a band that is one of the most vibrant and beautiful I’ve seen, definitely one for a nice sunny place!

What an interesting color. It was perfect in the other person’s post, but I’m not a fan of it here.

I need to see this one in person.

Okay I finally got a Kaki Kilim after abusing leather bands and sticking with the orange sport band for years due to the durability.

I love this thing. I was worried about comfort, but… is it even more comfy than the sport band? I need to spend time with it, but it may be.

My only concern is cleaning the deployment clasp after a workout.

Thanks, everyone!

I’m really pedantic about what I wear (men’s wear and watches are two of my main hobbies). This will actually be my first Apple Watch purchase after being pretty anti-smartwatch for a long time—I was gifted an SE2 a few months back, and it completely changed my mind.

Given my interest in men’s wear, wearing a rubber strap with fall/winter clothing won't really match that well. I quite aware that fabric/leather straps require extra care, so that's not really an issue. So, I guess I’m stuck going with the Kilim strap unless I want to wait until November. I’ll likely end up wearing it mostly with the link bracelet (really hoping it matches the silver finish). I’m not a huge fan of deployment clasps since I have slim wrists (15.5cm), and I find regular tang buckles much more comfortable. Any other slim-wristed folks here who find the Kilim buckle comfortable?

So, it’s down to a battle between the orange and black Kilim strap. Which one would you guys pick? :)
16.5cm wrist here, and I find the kilim to be my favorite even though I have 20 leather and textile bands. No matter what band I wear, it’s worn loose on my wrist, so I can slide a finger underneath, I have 3 kilim’s, Noir, Celeste Bleu and orange and will definitely get one more. For me it’s the Deployment Buckle which is my favorite feature of the Band, ease of care is the second. I would recommend the Black as that’s the most versatile color.

Do you have any close-ups showing the difference between the loop and the link bracelet? They both look flush to me, but they're just photos after all. :)

What a wonderful shade of blue! What a shame that it isn't available for the 42mm case. The 42mm exclusive straps don't even look good (Torsado Double Tour)...

Thanks! I've already ordered the black strap. Looking forward to receiving it next week. :)
