well, that is my opinion of most of these new Hermès non-leather bands (except Kilim).
That’s why Hermès still sell leather bands on its own site. I like the Kilim. Charging $349 for a nylon band is obscene.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Apple should deliver to California a day early tbh. I’m thinking after sunset for me today.
It came about 430pm pst. But what a pain UPS with the shipping today was really bad because all I had five deliveries right I had five boxes and said everything was gonna be delivered. Everything was on the truck and then I get a notification telling me oh your phone is passing clearance customs clearance in Kentucky and I’m like no it’s not. It’s on the delivery truck so UPS shipping was really messed up today.

I got my watch and I love it. Love it love it love it love it!! 😍. Love the Beton color it’s so warm and I love the matching face!!

To me the polished silver titanium looks to me like stainless steel did when I had the stainless steel model of the Hermes watch

To me the 46 mm kilm band is so much more comfortable than my 45mm ones. I don’t know why but it just feels better on my arm.

3 bands today with my 46mm series 10.

The silver titanium back on the new series 10 is really nice! Something you really only notice when putting on the watch but huge step up appearance wise.

Béton Kilim is a stunner and IMO, the best looking Kilim yet.

Vert moyen Kilim pairs well with Hermes gold leather accessories.

Personally, the torsade is a let down. It’s a Bridon 2.0. I would return it but I got it with my watch and I’m not going through that hassle. You can see that the loop to secure the tongue of the band is really large. You could secure two bands in it. Overall not the quality you would expect in a $350 band. The only positive that I see with it is that the band is very soft.

The best textile Hermes band from my experience is the tricot. It actually looked like the marketing photos. Both the bridon and torsade look like renderings used in the marketing photos.

Other thoughts: wow, the bezel on the series 10 is massive. It’s giving series 0 vibes. A huge step backwards. Lastly, another big step back is the lack of O2 sensor for us USA folks. For a premium product, it shouldn’t be going backwards like this.

3 bands I’m waiting on: grand H, bleu de France Kilim, 46mm happi double tour gold.

Bonus: was in Paris last weekend and picked up a Hermes MagSafe wallet and men’s bracelet in gold leather among other items. My wife and I were able to enjoy some champagne while shopping with our sales associates, which was fun! 🍾🥂

I also have the horse face MagSafe Wallet and it’s so classy. Love it

Wow these pictures of the Torsade bands are really disappointing. I also ordered this band with my watch. But I am considering just returning the whole package and reordering from Hermés with a leather band. Or maybe just replacing the battery in my S7 and waiting another year. Those large bezels on the S10 really feel like a step backward, especially for the Hermes watch that has so many full color face options. Can’t decide if the reduced thickness makes up for it or not. Kind of a disappointing year for Apple Watch overall.

Is that the Star Fruit case? I just put mine on my “Goldrunner” 16PM and am in love. The yellow really brightens up whatever is happening within its four sides.

Whatever route you go, cancel the torsade IMO. I don’t think the bezels are a deal breaker. Just annoying to go backwards in that regard. But we all know Apple will come out with a series 11 with smaller bezels.

It’s a very classy green! A great color for sure

Yes it is! I like the black iPhone and yellow case. Like a bumble bee 🐝
I agree! (On a related tangent, it’s a shame the Hermes wallet doesn’t support FindMy.)
It would have been nice for sure but you can’t always get everything I guess 🤷‍♂️

My 42mm with Noir Kilim arrived a few minutes ago. it looks noticeably larger than my 40mm, especially with the screen on - coming from a Series 5 it feels huge!

As promised, here are some photos of the 42mm with the old 38mm link bracelet and 40mm milanese loop bands; I do not see the same issues with fitment that @Bona Mish did regarding the lugs protruding, both look pretty flush to me.

Is that the size difference between the 40mm and 42mm? That looks big. It’s the one thing I’m worried about when upgrading from my 40mm s4. I like wearing smaller watches.

How is it from a fit and look perspective?

Thank you! I myself have an s7 titanium in 41. I honestly love the look and feel especially with bands like the Kilim. It just goes so well. I wanted to upgrade this year to the Hermes because I love the watch faces (lucky horse especially). But the shape is holding me back a bit!

Your report on scratches might hold be back too but watches do scratch and they have to be worn. I was told similar about the original titanium but honestly was so unnoticeable. I wonder if polished titanium is a whole other

Looks great. I’m tempted by that band now but I have a question. Do you know if that colour is prone to discolouration? Reason I ask is when I had the white apple sport band it ended up turning a weird Blue colour over time.

I’m not sure if the Beton kilm band will turn have any color transfer. I haven’t had any issues with my other 5 kilm bands with color transfer. I think the material of the Kilm bands feels a bit superior to the regular sports band. The Beton color is by far my favorite Kilm color band yet. I didn’t order the white Kilm in the spring because I thought it would get dirty too quickly.

Okay I finally got a Kaki Kilim after abusing leather bands and sticking with the orange sport band for years due to the durability.

I love this thing. I was worried about comfort, but… is it even more comfy than the sport band? I need to spend time with it, but it may be.

My only concern is cleaning the deployment clasp after a workout.

I have the exact same band for my s8 which I bought about 6-8 months ago. I use it every single day and after an average workout I wash it in soap and water. I put soap directly onto the band with my fingers and rub it. Then rinse. I rinse off that soapy water over the clasp (the second time) so it’s not in water for too long. Then dry immediately.

For a super sweaty work out I submerge in soapy water and rub the strap, but also swirl the whole thing around vigorously. Again dry immediately.

No issues yet. I’d say that if you scratch the clasp deeply there’s a chance water could make it start to corrode, but after 8 months of everyday use mine is totally fine. Gym 4 times a week!

So, i think many are in this dilemma, so wanted to add my opinion after receiving the natural and grey ti S10s.

I have a s8 Hermes in SS, and debated and debated about what to do this year, so I ordered a natural and slate grey s10 in 46mm, thinking to return one. I figured I’ll add my Hermes bands, make do and see next year..

Both arrived yesterday. I put my khaki grey band on them both and…

Slate grey:
The contrast between the dusty grey and the band doesn’t work at all. The lugs don’t scream out but it all just looks off.
I really think if you’re going to go this way you need a matching metal strap to make it worth while.

Natural Titanium:
At first I thought ‘it will do’. Match seemed close in my office, but again I did think this could look amazing with a metal band, otherwise it feels like a dirty SS.
Even next to my SS s8 it looked like it needed a scrub! A bit like when you done some gardening and the leaf blower back fired because the switch was on suck!
(I suspect the khaki strap reflection is heavily contributing to this)

So I boxed up the slate grey for return and setup the natural titanium. And then it started…

I went back and forth through all the mundane faces.

You basically got the option of a novelty face that looks pretty (reflection) but everyone is using.

A tech face with lots of numbers so it loses its real watch feel and class imho.

A basic clock with hands that makes it look like a classic watch - which is nice but I do need stats personally.

Or tachymeter which at first can be styled to look nice by making it darker and possibly using the red hand version, BUT and here’s a big BUT - I can’t unsee TACYMETER at the top where Hermes should be :(

I’ve decided I just can’t live with it and it’s going to cause me a slight pain in my brain every time I read the time to the point I may get ptsd when someone asks me what time it is :p

So it’s going back. I’m ordering a Hermes. I’m stuck on which band, but since I really love my kilim so much I’m just going to go for it in black and it’ll become my nice new shiny daily driver for a while.

I hope this helps anyone out there. If you want pictures etc do let me know and I’ll try to take some asap.

I wore my Blanc Kilim quite a bit over the summer, often with suncream, and haven't had any discolouration issues. Still looks like new. So I would hope Béton fairs as well. However I don't wear jeans often, which I imagine is where the blue colour on your sport band might have come from? Denim can be bad for that.

Beton for wife, noir (and my old khaki) for me.

Might get the orange in summer (I know I know you get the orange sports band but kilim is amazing)

(Wife has a 42 and I have a 46 so can’t swap them unfortunately)

Yes forgot to mention sun cream, I wore mine daily in the pool too in Dubai and south of Italy. Very resilient!

Really hope they bring the Vert Moyen and especially the Bleu de France to 42mm eventually, like they did with Kaki. The MagSafe wallet is great isn't it, brings a smile to my face every time I look down at it.
