Took months. Hermes just dragged it on and in. But yes!! That’s why I didn’t buy the spring bands. I was mad at them. lol!! 😂
I don’t blame you! I would have felt the same.

I just picked up a 42mm with a single tour etoupe. Interestingly they gave me a 41mm band. This was from Sloane street location in london.

I ordered a series 10 Hermes with an orange Kilim band from Apple. Not sure I will like orange, but it had the quickest arrival time of any of the possible bands. It arrives Tuesday in NYC. Does anyone really like the orange? I already have the Navy, Rouge, Blsck and Olive Kilim bands from my series 7 Hermes.

They don’t start shipping until October.

So the original Hermes watch faces can also be selected on the Uktra 2 Hermes? That would be amazing as I don’t think the S10 Hermes gets the Regatta watch face?

I ended up buying both the Ultra 2 and S10 Hermes editions because i absolutely couldn’t decide. I’ve always loved the battery of the ultra 2 but the style of the classic, but my Hermes faces were a non-negotiable. And the Hermes strap for the ultra is SO soft and excellent, even on my tiny wrists, plus the OG Hermes faces look great on the big screen. The S10 looks so sleek (Got it with the Beton Kilim). Going to figure out which I keep, but there’s a terrible chance I keep both, the S10 for dressier occasions and the Ultra for daily use (it goes great with my Hermes bouncing sneakers and my slouchy daily carry Kelly messenger or Birkin)

Small Issue: I have a Swift Single Tour Bleu de France band that I like to wear and I see that the buckle is starting to cause one of those creases (left band - 2nd hole), probably because I have to wear it a little snug (the next hole is too loose).

Questions: I'd like to replace the standard black hermes buckle, with a black deployment clasp. Is there a way for me to buy a Hermes one or Apple one? If not, can you recommend a decent 3rd party black deployment clasp? I found a few on Amazon, but I am wondering if there are better ones for me to consider.

Orange is my favorite one somehow. Maybe because it was my first and was all broken in

Wow that looks pretty scratched and dull already 🤔🧐🤨
Yeah for only being out one day I was shocked at how beat up it looked! Considering it lives in the locked case so it’s not like it’s handled by as many people as the regular Apple bands.

That’s crazy. Thing is, even if it has been there since launch day and was on full display and we could say this is the equivalent of 3 months use, that’s pretty bad!

The whole draw of this is for it to look bright, and it doesn’t at all any more :/. I totally get these kinds of straps aren’t for every day if you want them to remain immaculate but I expected more resilience than that especially for that price.

I was considering pushing it a bit and getting one for every day, but after seeing that definitely not doing that. Thanks for the picture btw.

Thanks for the pics. Can’t tell if it’s fully scratched or just need a wipe down.

Did they have it for sale or is it just for display? Even Hermès direct says it’s only available by the end of October.
I was able to get the one and only one they had received at our tiny Hermès boutique. It’s beautiful and even if it gets scuffed it will add character. I’ve had the original Apple stainless steel band from series zero until today and it’s still great. I have Rolex’s that are scuffed. That’s the way. IMHO

Do you think it is heavier than the OG SS link band, how do the two compare?

Would love it if you could post a pic of the two bands side by side.

Finally set up with my Series 10 Hermes after a false start with the Torsade band (wow, was that unimpressive in person). Returned the Torsade package and came home happy with the 46mm and Bleu de France Kilim. It's a fun blue, and a good contrast to the Navy one I got last year. So far I'm digging the new watch, and liking the more-square case shape.

The only bummer so far is that the Hermes faces don't have a ticking second hand in the AOD. Seems like quite the oversight! These are classic-inspired faces and they'd look great with a ticking second hand. I have to think Apple is adding more seconds displays for AOD mode soon, yeah?

Does anyone have recommendations for strap adapters with a polished finish that match the silver titanium case (42mm)? Also, would the correct strap size be 20mm or 22mm for the 42mm case? I have some nice straps from before that I'd love to use with it once I receive it. :)

I remember seeing in a review video (can't remember where) of the only AOD faces to support the "quartz-ticking" seconds hand are the two new Reflections (analog) and Flux (digital) faces.

I hope Apple will eventually add the quartz tick to other AOD faces, but I wouldn't expect anytime soon, if at all. Unfortunately, because the Hermès watches are much more rare than the non-Hermès models, the Hermès faces get neglected quite often when there are bugs (case in point: the new Béton face with the older font faces on wrist-down). My point being, if Apple does add the quartz-tick, it will likely be to the dozens of other standard faces before the Hermès faces. My fingers are crossed that I am wrong.

One thing I noticed on the new kilm bands I bought, the connectors aren’t coming wrapped in plastic anymore at least not from Apple not sure what comes directly from Hermes, but Apple’s not having any of the connector on the short part of the band wrapped in plastic like the ones I previously purchased.
My S10 came with paper everything, including the case sleeve and pocket the band comes in. I would assume the lack of protective film on the bands is part of the ‘no plastic’ push as well.

True. it probably was the Kilm’s i bought from Hermes last year that had the protective plastic.

I have the SS link bracelet and the Grand H felt way heavier to me. I don’t have the two together to properly compare but IMO it was notably heavier.

Can you share some pics with the Grand H attached to your watch? So only two links are removable?

Saw an Ultra Hermés in the wild at Costco of all places today. Looks great in person.

I feel like it was a missed opportunity not making a custom lug for the Grande H, feels lazy to use the same ‘ol connector on a $1k bracelet (and yes, that’s chump change for ‘real’ Hermés but still…).

Hermes told me the Kilim is fluoroelastomer, which is the exact same material as the standard Apple Watch Sport band. It’s basically a sport band in a Hermes moulding with stainless lugs and a stainless deployment clasp. The only thing we *should* have to worry about is tearing the band.
Don’t forget that the sport bands are Chinese made but the Kilim is Swiss made 🇨🇭
