Hi

Here is the new blue versus the blue from
Last year. This is under house lighting. I think the new blue is very vibrant and I prefer it to last years blue!!
How many of you Apple Watch Ultra users are getting the new Hermes

Bleu Nuit En Mer band?

Our phones and watches themselves are Chinese made. If it’s the same material, does it really matter?
When it comes to watches or anything related to watches, Swiss made is typically #1.

Phones are off topic for this thread.

And yes, the watches themselves are not Swiss made but I’d venture that’s because it’s more electronic than mechanical.

It’s supposed to give off a vibe that the kilim is a band you would maybe pair with a nice Swiss watch. That it’s not just a cheap $10 rubber band.

I don’t mind the band or the price, but it should be titanium. That’s the most disappointing thing for me because I wouldn’t mix/match stainless and titanium.
Do we know if the lugs or deployment clasps used on any of the other bands have been updated to silver titanium or are they still using stainless steel lugs and deployment clasps?

Seems like someone weighing their 45mm kilim vs a 46mm kilim should help answer that question.

I’m not a drug dealer though so I don’t have a scale small enough to measure 😂

I dont mind the lugs if they are stainless although they should match too. My issue is that for a $1,000 band please use the same material as the watch especially when it is lighter. I dont care if it makes the price higher, but just do it right. Apple usually gets these little details correct.

The new Kilim deployment clasps are marked with “stainless steel”.

I couldn’t agree more. In the luxury watch world, you would hardly ever see a steel case with a titanium bracelet and vice versa. I love pairing my Hermès S9 to my original link bracelet on occasion.

The US site does has it in stock. If you have someone to purchase and ship it to their home from the US Hermes site and then they can get it to you when your in North Carolina.
I prefer ordering Apple, as such a good return policy and easy to return if did not like. Just backordered so long. How is Hermes return policy? Probably want the black noir leather band too. 🙂

As of now the only titanium bands are Ultra right? New milanese and link bracelets are still steel…
Same.

I also checked my torsade and its stamped stainless steel on its buckle.

Is the titanium silver in appearance for the watch case because of polishing? If so, it’s probably impossible to polish the tight places on a buckle.

Is anyone else finding with the slimmer case that the digital crown now rubs your skin when using it?

I got the Hermes Ultra 2 with this band and it’s great, very soft and subtle. Can be dressed up or worn to the gym. it got a bit wet and was dry 5 minutes later. I have a tiny wrist (6.1”/155mm) and use the 2nd to last hole no problem.

Hermes return policy is 30 days if ordered in line from Hermes. If bought in a store you can only get store credit. And with both situations, don’t open or even breath on the watch or band or they won’t take it back.

I saw the stainless steel band at the Apple store today, demo only, and it looks sweet. Nice and shinny and very heavy. 💰💰💰

I got one and I like the look of it with my Ultra so far… are people actually wearing these during workouts, getting them wet, etc, or is it not meant for that?
Wore mine for some very sweaty workouts, doesn’t seem to stay damp for very long all. It’s not swimproof per Apple’s website but it is water resistant.

Oh wow - so can’t even take it out of the box and try it on then. That is tough. Guess will buy from Apple if move forward. Don’t get how they are so backordered.

Ans pics maybe? Would be interested in seeing how the band fits the connectors, if there is much „wiggle room“ or if it‘s as wide as I would expect it from a band in this price range.

Honestly I’m not certain. When I talked to Hermes last year they were clear that wearing it would be a non starter. Trying it on I’m not sure. That’s why I went to make to sure what I wanted. I’ll go to Hermes this week and see what my SA can do as far as availability. The Blue and Beton Kilms are showing a January delivery from Apple. :(

Here it is with an Ocean band and a few-years-old Jumping band. There is a bit of left-right “give” on the lugs but it’s basically not noticeable unless you specifically are checking for it.

Has anyone purchased from Hermes directly in store and gotten a 41mm with a 42 watch? I ask because I purchased an Hermes 42 Series 10 and got a 41mm Etoupe band. It was normal etoupe band not the super skinny ones. I am wondering if they're just selling the older 41mm band with the 42. I actually did see earlier in the thread the 41mm were actually slightly smaller than the 42s.

I notice in the single tours they're selling Gold, Etoupe and Beton. Gold and Etoupe are older colours, or rather more of the staple ones. So maybe they're just selling 41s with the 42s?

I’m selling my S7 Hermès locally with the Rouge H / Noir leather band. 88% battery capacity. The band is in perfect condition.

What’s a reasonable price do you all think I should sell it for?
