For me the 46mm fits so much more comfortably […] Now with the 46mm Beton the 4th hole fits me perfectly as it does on the 46mm vert, blue, and orange kilm bands. Also the rubber feels softer and the deployment band more comfortable.
Can anyone with 41 and 42mm Kilims corroborate? I wonder if there’s been a production change across the line?

Wonder what’s going on with Apple? They have been showing most 46mm with Kilim bands with a January delivery date. Now most everything is “unavailable”.

I actually think they do this on purpose. Last year I was on the fence about the Kilim and when I thought maybe i'll get one they were all showing unavailable. I frantically searched and it was almost like an obsession to get it, so I went from on the fence to must have lol :)

I bought within minutes of it being back on

I posted this in another thread, but in case anyone is interested as I was, this is my Hermes silver 46mm S10 watch with the Titanium Milanese loop that was designed for the ultra. Some mismatch on the lugs of course given its natural titanium, but Silver case usually works with everything I feel, and this looked good IMO that I ordered this band as well.

Also on another note, at some point after these pics, I notice I have my first set of small scratches on the silver titanium finish on the side that faces me when watch is worn, sigh. I guess it was bound to happen, but I have no idea when or how it happened since I dont recall hitting the watch against anything. So these are susceptible to scratches that look a bit like stainless steel ones.

i have an eye-hand coordination issue. Is the clasp easy to manage?

The clasp is a bit of a tricky thing with one hand honestly. But with some focus, I was able to get it on the couple of occasions I tried it. Definitely not as easy as the magnetic clasp on the original steel Milanese bands. Definitely a clasp one has to try, but its certainly tougher to use, but not impossible, one-handed than I imagined. May get easier with multiple tries.

Wow, that's pretty bad. Even a couple days ago, you could at least get the 46mm Orange Kilim within a few days. Now it's unavailable. That a huge change in availability in 2 days.

I ordered a Orange Kilim at a discount on ebay Sunday. At that time, there were still a few other Orange Kilims at $300, iif you are interested in Orange. Every other color is above retail price though.

Last year's Kilim availability was bad, and I never did get one. This year, I saw the Bleu de France and knew I wanted that, so I ordered it the first day. I'm glad I did. I guess, if we se a Kilim we want on the Apple or Hermes site, we better hit the buy button right then.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Anyone have a in hand band of this model ? Went for it this morning , thinking of getting the brown as well if I like the the black one 🤔
The band in your receipt has the SS hardware. Mine has black hardware.

I have that band 45mm brand new- have never even worn it. 🤦🏻‍♀️. Came with one of the SBSS watches I purchased. It’s a beautiful band with the black hardware. Mine even came with the black felt pouch. I only wear my kilm bands so this just sits in the drawer

I figure if I order it and I don’t like it in person then I’ll just send it back rather than not order it and then go back to get it and it’s sold out. in. They must be very very popular bands and as I said in my prior posts, I noticed a difference in the 46 mm and how much better it fits my wrist.

Is it that much a difference that you would stop wearing your 45mm Kilims?

For me yes. I am suffering from an autoimmune inflammatory disease and can’t wear my 45mm kilm on the 4th hole at all as it’s too big. But on the 46mm it’s perfect and the deployment band doesn’t dig into me like it did on my 45mm 3rd hole. I don’t know what it is, but for me the 46mm on the 4th hole is perfect. The 3rd hole isn’t comfortable. I was very hesitant about ordering the watch with the 46 mm kilm band because I wasn’t sure I was gonna be able to wear it. But other than but than the leather bands, the kilm band is the only one I like.

So I ordered my watch with the Beton band 46mm and it fits on the 4th hole perfectly!!

I’m gonna compare the bands as soon as I feel up to it and see if I can spot why there’s such a difference. I don’t know. I’m not imagining it. I bought all the 45mm kilm bands last year, and as many of you know wore them daily on the 3rd home but I also wasn’t having as many issues with my inflammatory condition as I have over the last year. I’m on the search for the 46mm noir kilm and probably will sell my 45mm navy, rouge and khaki on eBay.

I spoke to Hermes Customer Service. They said the 45mn Kilim is compatible with the 46mm watch. However, it is thicker and heavier and less flexible than the 46mm Kilim. When I ordered the watch from Apple, the only Kilim available for quick delivery in 46mm, was orange. It is growing on me. I tend to like more understated bands. I also ordered a 46mm leather deployment from Hermes, which should arrive today. I am assuming the deployment clasp on the leather works the same as the Kilim?

Yes the deployment clasps work the same. I can definitely attest to the rubber on the Kilm being softer and more flexible. It’s why I like the much 46mm better than my 45mm.

Are there any new Hermes watch faces for the Hermes S10?
The non-Ultra Hermès watch didn't get a new face this year. The Hermès Ultra exclusively got the new Marine face with a Regatta-style timer, but from what I'm reading, it may not have all the other Hermès faces of the the S10 and previous series. Someone pointed out that the Circuit-H and Lucky Horse faces are missing, but not sure if that is accurate or not. I'm really surprised that S10 and previous didn't get a new Hermès face at all this year, but no one else on the forum seems to have given much attention to that. I always looked forward to them...

So is the Orange Kilim 46mm on Apple's site in the new "softer" style compared to the "older", harder 45mm?

The 46MM (MXJM3AM/A) and 45MM (MTJ03AM/A) have different part numbers so I would wager that something between them has changed.

There is a difference as I already noted. I did not purchase the band by itself. I ordered it with the 46mm watch.

I’ve just noticed the same in the UK at least with the 42
How odd! I'm assuming you've had no joy ordering from the Apple store app? All three bands show available for pickup for me. I could even go to the payment page, where it said no online availability but in stock in select stores.

Mind you if you try buying the S10 Hermes in Beton it won't let you add to bag...
