From what I have seen in this thread, the 45mm stainless parts are narrower than the 46mm body. So the 45mm band in inset on a 46mm, and the 46mm is too wide for a 45mm. It sticks out noticeably on the edges.

I haven't noticed this. All my 45mm bands have fit perfectly flush with my new 46mm Series 10. I believe the connectors are the same size as before.

Well my 46 mm Double Tour Hapi and Beton Leather bands just arrived and oddly enough they seem to be longer than the old 45mm leather bands. The Hapi is almost to too long for me and the regular leather band i need to wear in the smallest hole, the 45mm space black double tour of last year and any other regular leather band i have is second to last hole for me. Will make some measures and direct comparisons with old bands later today.

Some pics attached (excuse the dirty work desk..., but full size keyboard for reference)

EDIT: just measured and the new bands seem to be roughly 1mm longer than my old ones, could be some production variations i guess

That's interesting. But is it potentially because the changes to the watch design? I found my old bands have to be worn a bit differently including my kilim actually. I wear it now in the lower hole.

Could be, since the watch is slimmer the band attachments are closer to the wrist. Doesn't explain why my old bands still fit the same between S8 and S10 😅. Might as well be some production variations.

Ah, directly from Hermès is different; they often update the listings of every old band on their site with the latest size despite not being accurate. Can usually decipher if a band they sell hasn’t been updated with new hardware if the Watch in the product photos is an older model. In the situation with the 46mm Orange Kilim, I wouldn’t be able to guarantee that Hermès would ship the newer one with it.

Apple doesn’t work like that.
Ah! this makes perfect sense now! I was wondering why stores online said 42 but in store (Hermes) had 41. Thanks for explaining it! So far, every watch I've seen online which got a "classic" colour single tour (gold, etoupe for example) seems to have the older size. This explains it!

Received my 46mm gold hapi today as well.

Overall love it. Double the leather, double the leather smell ☺️

It’s comfortable. Will be interesting to see if or how the buckle scratches the main watch case?

Speaking of the buckle, there’s no mention of the material. The other Hermes buckles state stainless steel very clearly.

I managed to pop into a boutique while on a work trip to Switzerland and tried on some bands. I was worried that the double tours wouldn’t fit me but they’re actually ok. Now I’m in a dilemma over whether to keep the gold hapi that I originally ordered or buy the DT Attelage but in Vert Moyen.

I’m in two minds over this or the Attelage DT

That Vert Moyen color is a lot of fun. But it might be hard to pair it with some outfits. The slim cut of the leather and attelage style is very unique though.

The gold color is the safer option and will likely pair better.

I wear 46mm so I only had the gold color option but I don’t think you could go wrong with either route.

They’re similar in overall shape but protrude from the top by about half a millimeter, and protrude out of the bottom side by over a millimeter. Not really a huge deal but it still annoys me.

Ooh, I wonder if the size range on their site was simply copy pasted from previous 45mm Double Tours then because in reality that might actually fit me and my interest is piqued…

That’s a good point. I think it’s available in Bleu as well.

My Hermes S10 with orange Kilim band from Apple arrived today. The new 46mm Kilim band appears.to be thinner and more flexible than previous ones. Has anyone noticed this?

Yup, im using the same hole as my daily 45MM Kilim and the new 46MM one is much more flexible which I love. The 45MM was either a tad too tight or way too loose. I went with the tad tight option which would kinda leave a mark where the end of the deployment is. On the 46mm no marks or anything. Much better. Perfect.

Estimated delivery was on Thursday, but I can gladly say that I received it today ("today" as in Tuesday, even though I'm writing this post after 00:00 local time). :)

How often does Hermés release new straps? Would love an orange leather strap. I know that it was available on the US web store last week (couldn't find it on any European Hermés' web store), but it wasn't the 42mm variant (it was the old 41mm version). Now it seems to be removed from the site.
