Heroes of Newerth Open Beta Registration

Well,
I'm currently downloading and have registered for the HoN beta through their Facebook fan page.

Anyone is free to sign up and start playing at no charge!
 
it looks awfully alike to WC3 Dota.
Is heroes of newerth just like Dota? Is there anything else they offer other than that?? I am interested to give it a try but if it is just Dota I am not too sure.
 
Would the game work with a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M? I saw the requirements and I'm not exactly sure about it....
 
Hi guys..

Been gaming since I was 13, played WoW, Counter-Strike, Subspace and DotA. I guess you'd call me an online gaming addict. I haven't touched any games for about 4 years now as I've been too busy for it. Recently my job eased up on my and I have some spare time in the evenings so I thought what the heck.

I used to use PC to play games and only invested in a Mac 2 years ago (Love it - never going back to PC), and I came accross this forum whilst searching for a good online game on the Mac.

So - I'm here, with only one post.. asking a favour - for a Heroes of Newerth beta key. I see that some of you guys have a spare one and would really appreciate it if you could share it with me. I can't offer you much except my company online and someone to play alongside...

I'd really like a betakey too, just saw the trailer form Dream Hack and it looked awesome. Seems like there will be a decent game natively for mac to kill some time :)

Beta key? Sign me up please! I've been really interested to try this out.

Any of you guys tried League of Legends? Its another DoTa successor. Heard some good and bad things about it.

Yeah I've been playing it for a while. I really like the interface, and the polish. The community is far less elitist. The learning curve is much easier as well. I'd consider it a casual-gamer's DotA.
 
I still have a beta key left.
First one to send me their e-mail on private message will get it.
I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so it might be a few days before I get to send it, unless I get it before I leave.
 
I'm highly interested by a key but PM sending is not working yet on my account. If someone has a key to share, please send me a PM, I would greatly appreciate it !!
 
HoN is being gay

Does anyone know why HoN on my mac book isn't working? When ever I click it, the screen becomes black like it's about to let me play but than, a little window pops up and says, "OpenGL 2.0 not available." It's really annoying and I would really appreciate if someone answers back quickly. Thanks:).
