when I click on "Configure Dictionaries" it shows Wikipedia as selected but I get nothing else.

I also had this with quick look. I did an Onyx full job on my iMac and after the quick look worked OK again, but the Preview app still wouldn't open them. The photos app also renders all new imports as just red images. I daren't click on thumbnails of older images in case it black-holes them too. What an abysmal set of bugs to release.
Unfortunately, reinstalling didn't work either. Reported but still a pain. Backup awaiting - unless another beta in next couple of days.
Same here - dictionary.app stopped recognizing the - well, dictionary, and Lookup doesn't find anything (apparently no source is linked for the lookup). I even tried moving the latest dictionary files from HS 10.13.3, and that doesn't work.
Seems like the plugin, or the launch code, or however "Lookup" works is broken in beta 1. Spelling still shows a misspelled word, but no replacement is offered. I did not realize how often I use "lookup" until it stopped working with the beta

is everyone/anyone else seeing a 'payloads' folder and a 'scripts' folder on the root level of their hard drive? just checking...
What is the deal with Safari constantly reloading pages?
It is the worst when using Plex and I can’t make it a few minutes into watching anything before it reloads. It’s super annoying.

not happening here at all, and plex works fine as well... have u rebooted? (sorry, obvious question)...
I have this problem on my Macbook Pro 15" mid-2010. Both Preview and Quick Look.
Image displays for less than a second, then becomes garbled.
I've reported through Feedback Assistant.
So since upgrade to 10.13.4 Beta I had AVg antivirus and it wouldnt open, I uninstalled and it wont install again, same goes for Sophos, seems as Antivirus application are having issues? how do i fix this? i removed all my antivirus from the syste, its not the end of the world but whats the work around if any?
nah straight up broken, I had AVG installed and it wont even laod it at all, the only AV thats working for AMC on ver 10.14.4 Beta 1 is AVAST right now, every single other AV for MAC will not install or load after this Veta 1 Install!
Yeah, I got the same problem. The screen turns black and stays that way. But OS is functioning because TimeMachine backups are made. I tried to install it twice and am now back to the latest beta of 10.13.3. I have a MacBook Pro 15" mid 2010.
Right click "Sophos Installer.app" click on Show Package Contents go to the "MacOS" folder run the installer in that folder.
Work around for now.
ONLY SOPHOS AV WORKS WITH 10.13.4 Beta 1 right now
