I received my 5 bead Hoco yesterday from amazon. I was very impressed with the quality and overall look. However, when I got it properly sized and ready to install to my 42mm SS one side refused to lock into place. After fooling with it for a minute or two the bottom lock pin (gold colored rectangle) fell out. This is the piece that actually holds the whole thing in place. It drops into the mating hole on your watch and then is pushed up flush when removing. It is supposed to be spring loaded and pressed into place by the black top side stud. At any rate mine is not working. :(

So now I have to return it and wonder is it just a fluke and should I gamble and try another? The thing is I would really hate to have the replacement fail later and possibly damage my watch! I have the SB and the classic buckle to use so maybe I wait till the aftermarket matures and there are some MFAW official bands to chose from?

I received my 3 bead today, and the exact same thing happened to me. Worst part is the little lock piece fell out of sight and is now lost in the ether of my kitchen floor. Spent a while looking for it but no luck. Though even if I did find it and manage to pop it back in, not sure I'd trust it to stay attached to my watch. Blargh.

I received my 3 bead today! It looks awesome on my 38SS. I love the weight of it...it feels heavy and premium.

I posted this in the third party accessories thread as well:

I received my stainless steel hoco band today and I must say that it is crap compared to the Apple link band I've been wearing for the past week.

The connectors don't fit snugly and also stick out a little bit. It just looks and feels like crap.

The first pic is the Apple link bracelet and the other two pictures show the gap in the hoco connector area and the part that sticks out.

What did you expect?

The HOCO-link costs 10% of what the Apple link bracelet costs. Do the math.

I think there's probably more variance with the Hoco bands, so it's possible to get one that's not great. I'm quite happy with mine.

I absolutely prefer it over the Apple link band. The tolerances may not be as tight on the connector, but the overall look is far superior in my humble opinion. I'm sure The Apple link band is made of the finest Valerian steel, but it doesn't matter to me because it looks like a stretchy band from a $25 drugstore watch. Add to that, the crazy $450 price tag and the HOCO is a no-brainer for me.

For those of you looking for a black stainless 3-bead by Hoco. I just ordered this on Amazon. Pretty sure it's made by Hoco.

Apple Watch Band Lecxci [3 Bead Chain] Apple Watch [Stainless Steel Strap] [Polished Classic Metal Buckle] Adapter Watch Bands for Iwatch (Black 42mm)

Looks great on Amazon. Hoco sells via different names, I know for a fact, because I ordered the regular stainless under the name "Ottim" or something like that from Amazon, and when I received it, it was a Hoco.

$80 ouch!!! $50 is ok but $80

i've seen it much cheaper in china... but its only renders. I'll believe it once someone actually buys it and photographs it (like the many silver ones, waiting on my 3 bead at the moment)

What's the shipping time frame on it if you don't mind me asking...
Should get it by some time in 2016. Just kidding, it shows mid June to early July. They do seem to come sooner though. Ordered a plain stainless that had the same time frame, and got it June 1st.

I got my Hoco SS 3 link bracelet today from Amazon $40. I really like it. Seems pretty well made and it included the lugs which use a standard Philips head to take apart allowing you to use any watch band, which is nice!
Ps. If you look at the bottom left lug, I did not have it all the way into position, it does fit well.

I love my three bead band and the five bead arrived today but one of the lugs broke which is disappointing. As I removed the band from the watch to remove one last link the entire pin mechanism fell apart. Waiting to hear back from the seller to see what they will do for me.

i got my 3 bead band yesterday, waiting to get it sized at the weekend or for my wife to find the right tool on taobao for me to do it myself.

only problem was with the connectors - one screw in each of them seemse very very loose, so the band flexes away from the watch more than i'd expect and i worry it might fall off! has anyone else had the same problem? i'm on the lookout for a teeny-tiny screwdriver (anyone know the size?) so i can tighten it up before i use it.

overall though, the band looks quite good. can't wait to throw it into the mix (getting bored of my black and green sport bands)

You can adjust the band using a precision screwdriver (that's what I did). Just place the screwdriver in the hole and use a small hammer to knock the pin out. It's very easy and took me a few minutes. If you don't have a precision screwdriver at home, you can usually pick them up at the $2 shops. My set cost me $2.50 (AUD) for 10 screwdrivers.

Seems like they've sold out again. I did see other companies selling it for $50. Biaoge is one company you can look up at Amazon.
