Thank you for posting those, So it is a much much smaller gap if any on the original. I just don't know if it is worth the extra $400, i would love the original but thats almost another apple watch. I would buy a band for that or more for my tag but am skeptical about this especially if they would change something making current bands not compatible with the 2nd gen (whenever that is).

While I liked using the snap-together sizing links on the Apple bracelet, I don't like how thin the tabs are. I just don't think it's a heavy-duty bracelet. IMO, watch bracelets need to be sturdy, and I don't get that feeling from Apple's.

I may try it on in the apple store again just for an in person comparison. I get what your saying and a watch band, especially at that price point, should feel sturdy and comfortable. Also have heard that the release buttons for the clasp are glued on and are falling off on some of the bracelets. Not sure if that is isolated or an actual thing.

I wonder if there will be any new metal bands for the apple event on the 9th, there are talks or possible smart bands (not sure how valid).

Apologies, couldn't post pics yesterday. I've not had this with any previous stainless steel watch strap but am not too concerned give the cost.

ascender, that looks fine. I've seen other watch owners complain about their MacBooks' aluminum scratching up their bracelets, for example; turns out the anodized aluminum finish is good at scratching 316L steel.

What's the best way to order a genuine updated HOCO link bracelet in the US. There is a seller on Amazon (Hoco Group US) that claims to be the official US seller, but I'm not sure what that means. I'm tempted to order from Amazon primarily for their return policy, but would happy to order elsewhere if someone has a retailer to recommend. Thanks.

I've got the Gold Aluminium Apple Watch sport and was looking for a new strap.

I came across hoco straps a while ago, randomly had a look on ebay a couple of days ago then lucked out and won this hoco leather strap for £1.99 + £1.99 P&P (as the starting price was £1.99 and no one else happened to bid on it & yes it came with the box etc.).

Having received it today my first impressions are it's actually much better than I expected (even when I was thinking I'd have to pay £15+ for one, rather than win it for what I did).

The only thing that bugs me are the adapters don't sit flush when I've got it on; can anyone recommend any better quality ones?

Turned out to be quite a nice colour combination, in my opinion.
