I also will say that I have a Hoco 3 bead also and found that one of the adapters was looser fit. Using a combination of one from another set, it is now good. I also noticed some play in one of the loops which screws in... but I think I swapped some components around and now that is good.

i posted about the same problem and i'm still not sure what to do... i have a spare set of adapters i could try to swap out for (i don't have a screwdriver that fits though, i keep buying teeny-tiny ones and they still end up too big) but i'm wondering if it's worth the effort... i may just either look for this link bracelet clone online if it gets good reviews - or this http://hococase.com/details/Grand_Series_Slimfit_Steel_Watchband_for_Apple_Watch_silver.html?l=brand interests me too, it looks like they've managed to get rid of the gap between the band and the lugs and improve it. [edit: done some research, and found an image of that one still in the packaging. adapter gap (agapter?) looks bigger than ever. will have to find a good link bracelet clone for my 38 or be happy with the hoco methinks.]

looks really, really good! how much did you pay for it?

i've got half an eye on this band, but I think I may have too many options already and not sure I can justify the price (maybe it'll come down as the weeks go on, I saw the original hoco band for about 30% of the price I paid for it, yesterday, and it wasn't exactly expensive to begin with)

don't suppose you've tried the apple link bracelet to compare?

I paid $60 on amazon. I havent tried on the Apple link band since I wasn't going to pay the $450 price tag for it. I highly recommend this replica band. I like is as much as my Milanese and leather loops.

You're welcome, thank you!

That is the one I ordered for 38mm.

Very pleased. Seems to be the best match for AW SG Sport. Becoming very popular.
I actually just gave this one away to a fellow forum member. He seems pleased with it. I ordered for my original watch which was a Space Gray Watch and I ended up getting the stainless. Since I didn't have use for it I gave it away and I can tell you this one is a pretty awesome Hoco band. I love it!

Hoogen, how's the feel of that Grand Series 2? One of the things that concerned me about Apple's LB was how slim the snap-fit tabs were. I'd be fine with traditional pins like that Hoco bracelet has.

hmm.. i've only found one seller so far on taobao with the 38mm (i'm living in china) but they want the equivalent of $75 for it. i'm gonna have to wait for the price to drop, it's a little steep for a 3rd party band.

are your milanese and leather loops apple or 3rd party?

It feels great, its my new favorite band. Its very comfortable and has a high quality feel and weight to it. Very happy with my purchase.

My Milanese and Leather Loop are apple. Here is the same band I ordered but on eBay for $60.33

and the quality stacks up enough that you're pleased with it? ugh i feel i need one now. i love my milanese loop (all my apple bands, in fact) and i liked the leather loop when i tried it on but i ended up getting a 38mm so its off the table, and well, i think with a young baby who likes grabbing things (with dirty or wet hands, especially) it's possibly not a good choice for me anyway.

i've seen plenty of sellers offering the 42mm one here, but only 2 with the 38mm. i guess it'll take time to show up and the price go down, like it did with the first hoco bands (that then became available in black, and the horrible gold tints)

Hoogen, next question before I pester my wife -- how's the, uh, range of motion in the links? Do they only curl a bit, or can they look like this?

The band has a very limited range of motion. Here are pictures of the amount of bend that is possible. The first picture is the watch sitting up on end with the watch band latched

Yes, great quality and it really enhances the visual design of the watch.

Anyone know where I can get the grand series 2 in space gray or similar color?

I showed it to my wife, comparing it to Apple's price. She said, "So?…"

:(
She probably meant "so? Which one do you want?" I know that's my reaction when my husband shows me something. In fact I'm the one buying stuff for him. I spoiled the crap out of this guy but sadly he isn't much of an Apple enthusiast so make do with my kids.

haven't seen one as yet, but it only took a matter of weeks for the last hoco bands to come out in black (and gold and rose gold) after the stainless steel ones. they didn't exist when i ordered, which pushed me towards the sport over the space grey... and then they started showing up online the next day! boo.

So is the Hoco link band better than the other non-OEM link bands?

I will probably end up waiting for the 1-1 copies in black to be < 100$

After a couple of weeks of use my stainless steel Hoco strap isn't holding up very well. In the area which naturally comes in to contact with surfaces, i.e. the rectangular link with the catch buttons in it and the adjacent link either side are starting to get pretty scuffed.

I don't use my watch for any sports and the body of the watch itself is in immaculate condition, so this has been caused by daily use in an office environment, just in case you wonder if I've been wearing this to go rock climbing or like to drag it along walls to see what happens.

This appears to just be considered normal wear and tear from daily use... And yes, I know it was only £30!

Anyone else having similar marks appearing?

Nope. Had my 3bead black Hoco for a month. And I wear it to the gym and everywhere. It has no marking as you describe. I expect it will over time, being anodized black. But nothing yet.

I have the three bead and have some scuffing on mine, but I expected that. Every band I have scuffs pretty easy. Heck, my SS Apple Watch has scuffs on it!

Got my hoco link band, so far I like it and the gaps are not bad at all. Does anyone have a apple link band to compare to? From the pictures I can see online even the apple link band has some sort of "gap".
