Well the reality of Amazon and eBay is the advertised image is not what always is delivered. Everyone knows that.

It was a fair question. If HOCO doesn't sell directly, being their current business model, finding a Amazon vendor that does sell a HOCO made one is a fair question.

I've had the 3 link band for a few weeks and it's been great. Haven't even put the sport band back on.

Just received my Hoco Red leather classic buckle. It appears to be from Hoco as it has the same back as the one posted a page back.

Not happy with it really.

The metal connectors have a fair bit of give and wobble. The clasp is a copper colour instead of silver. But most importantly for me, the metal that holds the leather are not polished stainless steel like the pics on their eBay ad show and hence to not match the polished steel of the connector

This significantly ruins the look for me.

I've made my concerns known to the seller and awaiting a reply back.

Here is what I bought:

HOCO Luxury Genuine Smooth Leather Watch Strap, Band for Apple Watch 38mm 42mm[Red,42mm]

How are other people's?

Anyone know how many links should be removed for a 3 bead on a 165 MM size wrist and a 38 mm watch?

You're welcome, thank you!

Mine came in the mail today (ordered from Amazon about 10 days ago). I love it! Got the space gray stainless go go with my space gray sport 42mm. I had to remove three links but that wasn't too bad.

That is the one I ordered for 38mm.

Very pleased. Seems to be the best match for AW SG Sport. Becoming very popular.

For the price, this link band is definitely worth it. I originally ordered on ebay a 38mm but they sent me a 42mm packaged inside a 38mm box. Talk about confusion. I did eventually get another 38mm but now I have an extra 42mm in black. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM.

Edit: Item has been sold.

my hoco 3 bead has very wobbly adapters, the arms seem to move in and out of the bit that goes into the watch. when i pull it it feels secure but I'm still a bit worried about it and so i haven't worn my hoco 3 bead as much as i'd have envisaged when i bought it. has anyone actually had that sort of failure at the adapter (i've seen people with the springy/attachment bit fall out but i'm only concerned about the adapter falling apart and the band therfore coming off)

Where did you buy it? Mine seems more than solid and is worn daily. I'd return t for another if you can.

i got it ages ago, in china - i have a feeling it could be an early version and I may have got unlucky.

I asked a watch repairer to tighten it up but he refused, he said he'd just ruin the threading (i know at least one other person had the same experience). it doesn't feel like it'll come off, i just worry it might.

i have a spare set of adapters i'm sure I could swap it for but if they used some kind of glue in there that might not be as easy as i thought.

I have three sets of adaptors. They all use screws not glue. Though if you want to be sure it won't come off the adaptor I guess a touch of lock tite

Good luck!

I spent $25 on my Hoco leather classic band in Blue, because it was supposed to have grey adapters, but arrived with silver. Ended up buying $10 spring bar 'upgrate version' (ebay listing i swear!) so itll look right :/
Leather feels a bit plasticy too. Kinda wish I bought one of the $7 knockoff-knockoffs lol

Has anyone ordered their link bracelet yet? They have a black version too.

Looks nice but I wonder how the spring part on the lug will hold up? I have a Hoco 5 bead and have already broke/lost two of the metal rectangular pieces on the lugs which hold it in the watch. I just got replacement adapters the other day but just broke the stupid thing again (experimenting with different sizings so I removed from watch) so now I am using an original adapter and a replacement adapter combination. Since I can easily replace - they are cheaply available (the adapters) all over Ebay now for $8 or so, not a huge deal... BUT... since this band has a different integrated lug, what happens when those break?

I also will say that I have a Hoco 3 bead also and found that one of the adapters was looser fit. Using a combination of one from another set, it is now good. I also noticed some play in one of the loops which screws in... but I think I swapped some components around and now that is good.

I prefer the look of the 5 Bead over the 3 Bead since it is skinnier and makes the watch look better although the 3 Bead feels more comfortable and is easier to take on/off

Just got the space grey/black 3 bead from Amazon. Like it but it's not an exact match color wise. Still looks and feels good for the $40 that I paid on Amazon.
