'Clean me up Scotty'

Looks more like a time machine than a shower lol. Showers like that are amazing though. I used one once and it was awesome!

I made this magnetic 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube a couple weeks ago. It took me about 3 days in the garage drilling and gluing, but in the end, I am very happy with the results. Ive been looking to sell it, but have yet to get many offers, so Im just gunna see what happens. If anyone is interested, make an offer :D

Looks sweet! Does it move just like a rubik's cube?

Another Kitchen

Ok, here's mine (from Baltimore 'area' even). Can you tell which one was before and after?

Basement Transformation

Two years before I did the kitchen (1st floor) I did the basement which was 100% unfinished. I cleaned/sealed the walls and floor, which is the 2 'before pics'. Then built the theater/lobby (these pics are about 4 years old, don't knock me on the posters :) )

THAT..IS..AWESOME. How much did this project run you and did you do all of the installation yourself?

So, when is the Maryland MacRumors meet at your house? :p

Oh, come on! Everyone knows you wouldn't downgrade from stainless steel

Basement looks fantastic. I'd love to build some sort of entertainment/theatre room like that. Great work.

Here's a fairly decent set of photos from my last DIY project.
Defretting a Warwick Corvette Proline.
When I got it:

Old ice box. Stripped it down. Top used as a bar and I have a receiver in the bottom.

Here is one of my DIYs. It is a racing cockpit for gran turismo. Uses the Logitech G25 wheel with 6 speed shifter and clutch

very awesome thread!!

here is my 2 cents.....

A tripod mountable greenscreen.....

Both a black and a white screen will be created this week.

I use them for photography.....

What do you photograph in front of green screen? I've heard of using a green screen for chroma keying with video, but never with photography!

I put (christmas) lights behind it
this way I can easily add or decrease the bokeh, which gives amazing results.
I occasionally use it for chroma keying, for both photo's and videos.

green is perfect for this as most lights fade out in a yellowish color.
This way with the foam behind it makes color less hard and spreads it over a wider surface.

This is the only before shot I had.

After:

Took down the sheet rock, and terrible white panels, and went with painted drywall. Put in surround sound. My dad and I worked on this project.
