Sure it looks cool but has no practical use really so I have always had it off. And as some mentioned, its the reduce motion setting. Are there any other way to turn the parallax effect on and off?

Not currently. You used to be able to turn it off during the wallpaper creation pre-iOS 16

I just watched brandon video and even he told that bug still exists in 17.5 beta 3 his search button moves but not his red icon mine does lol what could be the issue?

Badges aren’t supposed to move in the dock as those icons never move.

the parallax effect stops working if you swipe to App Library. if you restart your iPhone it works until you went to App Library.
