That's exactly correct! Internal testing is at least one beta ahead.

That isn't correct at all. Think about it. Developer feedback would be practically useless if they gave us old builds with issues that they've already resolved in newer builds. Why would they do that?

They're already working on most of it. Remember at WWDC 13 when iOS7 was announced that the icon colors on the live demo was different than the one they released in beta 1? And those changes appeared in beta 2. They take the feedback/bug reports and apple them daily. Inside iOS builds change almost daily.

Given that the battery drain seems to cause the phone to run warm, it's likely CPU related. Even if it's cellular related, it has an effect on CPU.

As such, has anybody hooked an iPhone up to Instruments within Xcode and tried to identify any process consuming more CPU runtime than they perhaps should be?

What do you use Safari for?
There's ALOT of usage there, DANG!
These are the settings i have for my phone in safari. I use safari quite a bit and these settings only cause Safari to use very little power. Make sure you clear ALL website data and caches as well. You don't wanna do it TOO much, but you don't wanna store TONS of old information as well. I would clear it every month or so.IMG_2910.PNGIMG_2911.PNG

Of course they're already working on it. But you were implying that it was fixed before they even seeded us beta 1, which definitely isn't correct

Where exactly was I implying that? My post said that Apple has more advanced internal builds than the ones we see in the beta. Carry on.
