I haven't been jailbroken for a while and I forget what I used to use activator for. How do you guys use it? At the moment I only have:

On Lockscreen

Home button double press: toggle play/pause
Volume up short hold: next track
Volume down short hold: previous track

1. Tapping the status bar while on springboard to lock the phone, this is so that i can avoid using the sleep/power button.
2. Automatically turn off cellular data when i connect to wifi.

swipe status bar to the left - simulate a press of the sleep button
swipe status bar to the right - bring up the app switcher
swipe off screen to the top - simulate a press of the home button
enable/disable 3G when leaving/joining wifi networks
double tap lockscreen clock - turn airplane mode on/off
long hold home button - do nothing
short hold of home screen status bar - bring up SBPower
short hold of home button at lock screen - play/pause
short hold of volume buttons at lock screen - prev/next track

and probably some others

I've pretty much jail broken every iPhone I've owned since gen 2. Never used activator until I saw this post. The auto cell data turn-off is awesome !!

I have scheduled my iPad and iPhone to reboot and respringed during the middle of the night and as soon as the tweak to kill all apps in the background comes out (that does not require a confirmation to kill the apps) I will make a schedule for that too. Just learned about turning off cellar though, I'm going to add that too.

2x tap status bar - lock phone
Both volume buttons - safe mode boot
Wifi On - Cell data Off
Wifi Off - cell data On

My fav setup is:
Hold status bar: open iMessages
Double tap status bar: open Favorites in Phone for quick calling
Swipe left on SB: home button press
Swipe right on SB: activate switcher

This setup allows me to fully use my phone virtually without ever having to press the physical home button so that's why I like it.

Hold Status Bar Right (Anywhere): BiteSMS Quick Compose
Short Hold Home button (Anywhere): Camera
PowerPlay tweak (on Lockscreen):
Volume Up - next track
Volume Down - previous track
Volume Up and Down together - Play/Pause

Swipe Right Status Bar (Anywhere): Do Not Disturb on
Swipe Left Status Bar (Anywhere): Do Not Disturb off
Short Hold Sleep Button (Anywhere): Flashlight

Single Tap Right Status Bar (Anywhere) Hands-Free tweak, toggle on/off
Slide in Gesture from Bottom (Anywhere): Home Button
Lock/Unlock Device (Homescreen/Lockscreen): Home Button

Hold Status Bar (Homescreen): Overboard tweak
Hold Left Status Bar (Anywhere): Place Call (from Call Bar)

Slide Out Gesture, Off Screen Bottom (Application): Scroll to Bottom
Slide Out Gesture, Off Screen Top (Application): Scroll to Top

Double Press Home Button (Anywhere): Virtual Assistant (SIRI)

I don't use the WiFi options for turning cellular on/off. That's cool, but I already have Smart 3G + LTE which turns WiFi on when WiFi is found and cellular off and cellular on and WiFi off when there is no WiFi.

I'm also using Zephyr and SwipeBack.

Security feature...

On the lock screen - long hold power button - do nothing (suppress original action). This keeps your phone from being shut off while locked :) this in combination with FlipControlCenter lock toggles like airplane and wifi helps in the event your phone is stolen.

Great idea, thanks for the tip!

On my iPhone 5:

Long Press of Home button on lockscreen to unlock the phone. This makes it seem like you've got the fingerprint scanner.

I don't use it at all.

The only reason it's installed is because flipswitch requires it.

I would like to use single tap and double tap on the status bar for new actions, but the existing behavior of scrolling certain apps to the top (safari, messages) is bugging me. Any way to turn off the auto-scrolling AND re-assign the status bar to other actions?

Thanks

Best advice I could give is set up some gestures to preserve your buttons.

I have swipe status bar left for home button and swipe it right to lock device. Pretty slick.

Double tap left status bar - compose Facebook post

Double tap status bar - open settings

Double tap right status bar - toggle on/off lockdown pro

Swipe left status bar - open atomic web browser

Setup right status bar - open Facebook

Swipe down on the left from status bar - open camera

Swipe down on the right from status bar - open spending app

Volume up short hold - next track

Volume down short hold - previous track

Volume up, down - activate Siri

Short hold lock button - activate power menu

Short hold home button in apps - open music app

Long hold home button - open recent in phone app

Double press home button in apps and springboard - open menu with all apps in it

Single press home button on SB - open music app

Double press home on LS - unlock phone

I love activator.

Long Press of Home button on lockscreen to unlock the phone. This makes it seem like you've got the fingerprint scanner.

Have this on my iOS6 devices for quite a while.

Unfortunately it doesn't work on iOS7 using CleverPin.
With passcode either enabled or disabled in settings everything works fine, but it stops working when disabling the passcode with CleverPin.
No such problem using CleverPin on iOS6.
Anyone else?

Very clever, I will implement that now

I just have a few for the status bar:

Single tap: biteSMS QC (when it's implemented)

Double tap: Home

Hold: App switcher

I'm using Virtual Home on my 5S, but it's difficult to do a screenshot at times now.

Anyone using a good Activator gesture for screenshots?
