I am super excited for the iOS 9 update because that is what I interact the most with, an iPhone and an iPad. I am this time around excited for the OS X update because last year to me it was just a facelift with a couple new features, but this time around should be a major improvement.

Im too pumped for it. Usually I only paid attention to the iOS part of WWDC but now since I bought my first Mac last week, I can now pay attention to the OS X part now! Brought my Mac to work to watch it.

OS X 10.11, 6s and...yeah, about it. I'm quite neutral this time around. Dunno why. Might need coffee.

Let's stay on topic, this thread is not about exams but WWDC. Please take such discussions off to another thread dedicated to that topic.

I'm at about a 4 or 5 right now. The events are getting a bit predictable. Products derivative.

Apple needs to come up with some "shock-and-awe" stuff. Like the original iPhone. Bam! Insanely great features that nobody saw coming.

I mean, its a bit difficult to create an entirely new product every year.... They keep adding mini things to their line, and now the watch..

As far as shock and awe in the sense of software.. Not sure what else they can do..Half of their **** barely works. Apple maps is still a joke, iOS is buggy as hell. Mac OS works, after a few patches....

I honestly wonder if Tim Cook and his team even use their own software or if they have custom built ones that don't have ANY issues.

Ok, now that we're only 2 hours from the keynote, I'm upgrading my rating to an 8++ :p

My excitement dropped significantly now that it seems the Apple TV won't be making an appearance, but I'm interested in seeing the streaming music service and what's being done with iOS and OS X.

Mark me down for a 5, it's a dev conference to start with and not a consumer-centric trade show - new software features are cool, but I'm not sure I put much faith in Apple's music service and watch stuff.

Apple TV as a hub for everything in one's home would be cool, but it doesn't sound like it's happening this year.

I just really wonder what HomeKit is for them, because remote-controlled dimmable lights is a cute gizmo that won't last long.

I'm definitely ready for a big wow, tho.

Not that thrilled to be honest. iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 sound like pretty boring upgrades. I'm also not interested in a music service. Hoped to see an Apple TV, but since that's not happening I'll just refresh the front page every now and then.

Not much more they can do but refine. I think with the 6S Plus iPhone, I'll be moving to an every OTHER year purchase, instead of annual like I've been doing since launch.

iPhone upgrades just aren't as exciting as they used to be, plus iOS updates are good for 3 generations of phones.

Sum things up. Some cool new features for OSX, but mostly gimmicks. "Natural search"... I don't think that will work as good as they had on stage.. Your files better be SO organized its not even funny. I will still use Alfred. Not sure why. I can't shake off Alfred.

The personal assistant thing for iOS... Not sure how I feel about it.. Wake up and it knows you go for a run, so it has a music app ready... Not sure how that is mind blowing. Unlock your phone and press an app and you're done lol... Reminders.. Again, won't work. Location based reminders especially won't work..

Notes app: ONLY thing I'm actually pumped about. I love the notes app

Spotlight: When the current one actually works flawlessly ill make judgement.. I still can't search songs, even though I have my spotlight to ONLY search for 3 things - songs, contacts, apps......

WatchOS - The tone of voice in the guy was that of, "You guys cried so much we are going to just go ahead and let you guys have access to everything early".. I'm sorry, but I'm not sold on them being 100% happy about letting go of the reigns so fast. sounded more of, "there, u happy?"... Also, won't see it in action until Fall... Good to know big things are coming for it, but still just further away.. How the watch will work once app can be installed and live in the watch alone will be interesting. Wonder how much power it can truly push out and still be snappy fast.. If it even will be.

MacOS: Some cool things but nothing I'm shocking about. Safari improvements are always welcomed of course....

I guess the app is cool.. But, for someone like me, who has never had a subscription to any of those music services, this is a lost cause for me.. I like to hear my songs. Very few times I would just go and put on Pandora or some ****...
