11 Pro Max still running great at 100% battery health and I am at 152 cycles.

Still at 100% and while checking, just noticed that my optimized battery charging is finally working. Excellent.

Apple's battery health tool seems to be quite inaccurate. It says 99% on my 11 Pro. Here's what Coconut has to say:

I have had my iPhone 11 Pro Max since launch day, and have had many times where I use it for long periods (Watching You Tube, Games, etc) but last night right in the center back of the phone (Maybe a tad above the Apple Logo and more towards the left, the right side seems to stay cool) after a few minutes of use, the phone is getting very hot. Anyone else get this all the sudden? Just very strange to all the sudden start.

The screen after being on for about 2 minutes dims a little as the back starts getting very hot.

I am running the latest iOS and no updated iOS recently installed. It cools down very quickly if the screen shuts off for a minute or two.

iphone pro since October 2019. Battery health according to ios is 97% but coconut says "100%".
do not understand scope of inaccurate value of iphone's battery health.

iPhone 11 Pro Max since October 2019 and already it’s 98% battery health since around January 2020. I charge my phone every night though.

As long I can get a day of use with my phone, I don’t really mind what the battery health is. Still loving the phone 😁

Got 11 Pro Max on Launch day, I'm a very light user, never to 100% full charge, always unplugged at 80%.

My 7+ I got in mid December is at 99%. Really wish the battery health feature didn’t even exist. Just causes obsession over something that shouldn’t be obsessed over. I am as guilty as anyone about it too. Check too much which is just stupid. I mean when your phone starts to not last so long just go get the battery changed. No real need for a meter.

Absolutely agreed! You should see the iPhone Facebook groups, almost every other day someone is either asking how they can keep it at 100% or panicking that it’s dropped too fast

I'm glad I've come across this thread -

iPhone X
Age: Since launch day
Max Battery Percentage: 84%
Overnight Charge - Wireless
Evening Charge - Wired via Battery Pack

My battery doesn't last all day and I usually have to charge it early evening so that it lasts until bedtime - I'd say I'm a medium user

Thinking of getting the battery replaced via Apple for £69 and selling the X
Get an iPhone 11
or just wait until Sept for the 12

iPhone 7 Plus
Age: Purchased December, 2016
Max Battery Percentage: 87%

My wife also has a 7 Plus that was purchased at the same time. It's Max Battery percentage is 81%. We're replacing her battery tomorrow, as it doesn't last a full day anymore.

XR, 94%

been at that level for a little bit now knock on wood

had this replacement device for about 14 months. I hope iOS 13 'optimized battery charging' feature keeps things nice and healthy. Was on iOS 12 the whole time until a few weeks ago

I always use a fast charger too lol. I cant be bothered to wait / not that paranoid about it. Been this way for several years ever since I got my first 29w and before that used iPad 10/12w chargers
