Launch iPhone 8
Charge Cycles - 495
Max Capacity - 93%

Phone is charged all night on wireless charger and approx 1 hour to work and 1 hour back in the car each day.

With my previous iPhones I would only charge overnight and then not bother in the day unless I needed to. The battery capacity over a similar period / no of charge cycles was approx 85% (iPhone 6).

How did you 100%ers charge your phones?
not sure how this is true but maybe I will test it with the new phone...

taken from the different post "Charging to 100% is your reason why battery is dying so fast. Max charging to 80% is ideal. Ios 13 will have a feature when it will keep the battery at 80% until the phone determines, based on your charging pattern, to charge to 100% just prior to you being active on the phone. If you keep battery between 40-80%, you will extend life significantly. My X after two years is still at 94% and I'm a heavy user. Don't let it drop below 20% either, both extremes are very bad for lithium batteries."

What do you think?

XS Max, acquired on launch day
100% battery health

I plug it into my charger every night.
I sometimes wirelessly charge while working.
While driving around, I almost always have it plugged in to my car charger.

the replacement battery for my iphone 6S+ has been worse than the original - i had to get it replaced because of random shutdowns but it seems to be that the new battery doesnt last as long as the original.. they probably has the same mAh, but i need to charge my phone daily, literally, althought im not using it almost at all.. when using it the software (ios) says that brightness is consuming the battery, but the brightness is almost on the ”zero level”.... i quess they replaced original batteries with second hand ones when they offered them cheaper - also offered a cheap quality...

89% and purchased 1/17/2018. iPhone X 256 gb.

I've only used wireless charging less than handful of times and even then it was to see if a certain brand or two worked on my phone.

Seeing as most of us are getting brand new shiny phones tomorrow. I figured it would be neat to compare everyone’s battery health in the device that’s getting replaced. So What is everyone’s current battery health? As in maximum capacity percentage found in settings.

Just list your current iPhone type, how long you’ve had it and your Maximum Battery Percentage.

I’ll start.

iPhone 10s Max
Age: 1 year(preordered at launch last year)
Maximum Battery Percentage: 91%

XS purchased December 2018 99% battery life.

iPhone X
Age: Nov. 3, 2017 Launch
