I guess the larger display drains the bigger battery on the 7+ More, which is why the battery life is only a little better than the standard 7.

Or perhaps that's more of an average (or even slightly below average) battery life of a 7+ compared to above average battery life of 7.

I think what apps you use and the brightness make a big difference. I've seen higher battery life but when I'm on high brightness, using Tapatalk, Facebook, Safari, I'll notice quicker battery drain.

Agree, although it's generally games and video stuff that drain the battery considerably more than the likes of tapatalk and Facebook etc as they're a lot more cpu intensive.

I've always had massive drain on Facebook and Tapatalk. No idea why.

So you'd say you save more battery having auto brightness off? That's the one thing I've left on. I'll test out turning it off now.

My battery has improved a lot since i turned of auto brightness ( i posted some time ago).
Not sure if it is bug in ios and it can be annoying to keep adjusting brightness but atleast i can use the phone for full day without worrying about pluggin in the day!

Perhaps something got stuck syncing or running after the update? Have you tried restarting? Perhaps resetting some (or all settings)? Maybe even re-installing if it all continues?
Thanks, have been on apple support site and followed all advise printed.

Was 100% when I left house this morning at 09:00, now 13:00 with 1% left. Insanely bad.

Before 10.2 I used to get a solid 7-8 hours

When I play Pokémon Go I get these results after playing for 3 hours and I see the GPS sign in the top of your screenshot. Is your GPS maybe always running?

I was outside when I took the screenshot but until that point I had been in the office with wifi rather than 4G and no apps running

Have just returned to office with battery indicating 1% for the last 90mins, plugged in the charger and the charge jumped instantly to 29%.

In time time taken to write this message I'm already at 33%.

Something isn't right.

my iPhone 7 Plus does not seem to go to sleep on 10.2 Usage and standby time is always the same, few minutes give or take

Let the phone charging some time after it reaches 100%. This "problem" should go away (it did on my 7 Plus).

Close all apps in the app switcher then do a hard restart by holding down the sleep/wake button and volume down button at the same time until you see the apple logo. Hopefully this will fix the rouge stuck process that's not allowing your phone to sleep properly

Im not seeing a BIG different from iOS 10.1.1
The battery life on my iPad Mini 2 is horrible for what I do with it.

It generally runs really slow, horrible battery life, and an overall disappointment. I wish I would have never upgraded from iOS 9.

Hopefully it gets better with some updates.
