That's how they make money - over time you get OS release which slows down old devices or have screwed up power management (6S problems).
Oh I forgot, they also with iOS 10 changed charging / syncing thing so your cables might not work anymore under new OS... But that's not my business.

Except stupid phone turning off when it's cold outside when you have low battery (under 20%). But it's "normal" for iPhone. At least Battery Life app showed that phone is completly dead (14 mAh or so

So it's better to have "boring" phone than Xiaomi / Samsung / Sony which might make you crazy when Google Services screw up or any other process stuck in zombie mode and CPU is almost 100% all the time...
