Mine has definitely gone down a bit. I'm like 20% lower each night when I plug in than I used to be

Quite pleased and Facebook does use it quicker but I'm happy with it.

On my iPad Air 2, 2-3 hours less than 9.2.1. Same usage, same everything. On Air 2, only Night Shift is a bonus plus locking notes. Am I missing something? Thinking about downgrading to 9.2.1 until next big update. BTW my 5s cannot upgrade to 9.3,so let's keep Air 2 and 5s in the same boat.

You should be able to update 5s to 9.3 now that an updated 9.3 update has been re-issued for older devices earlier today by Apple.

My iPhone 6s Plus is experiencing significant battery drain on standby on 9.3 vs 9.2.1. I'm seeing drain rates of 10% in two hours on wifi only (cellular off/airplane mode on) in standby - background refresh completely off. On 9.2.1, it would have been 1% or less (no % drop at all). Yet, I've also gone eight hours with only a 3% drop on 9.3, which would have been normal on 9.2.1 too - so the excessive drainage is intermittent, but its occurred multiple times in large amounts to be alarming. Interestingly, the battery usage meter is showing significant "usage" during these drain times - upwards of 1:30 of usage when the phone has had no actual usage just sitting on a table - so something is running or happening in the background that shouldn't be on 9.3. No setting changes between 9.2.1 and 9.3. I really hope this gets fixed.

Sounds like some troubleshooting might be in order.

Yeah, I've tried everything. Unfortunately, not a lot of troubleshooting you can do on iOS when absolutely nothing else has changed besides the update a week ago (no setting changes, no new apps). Short of a clean install, and that gets messy and time consuming. Already reset network settings. Restarts don't help. I'm likely to downgrade. Seems like others have a similar problem.

Might want to try resetting all settings and perhaps even restoring might be worth it despite the effort.

I downgraded back to 9.2.1 and restored from a backup. Clean Installs ("reset all settings") are such a pain when you have as many apps installed as I do. Other than the 3D Touch menu for Settings and iBook iCloud sync I'd use, I'm not going to take advantage of NightShift, so its not worth it to stay on 9.3 with the excessive battery drain at the moment.

Out of curiosity, has anyone experienced excessive standby drainage with wifi calling enabled? I'm wondering if perhaps the AT&T wifi calling feature could have been acting up (I had the phone on airplane mode with just wifi on due to poor reception where I currently am).

Not sure if this is better or worse than last time. But me results, not bad, certainly seems to be no drain. That's with location services and background refresh all on.

I'm trying to run my battery down and finding it hard! I want to go to 0 and do a full recharge as I've had it a month and want to follow the advice that says to do this once a month. I'm down to 15% with 7 hrs 46 mins usage and 40 hrs and 48 mins Standby.

I removed Facebook as well. Too demanding on space and power. Just access it through Safari now.

A lot better than the 9.0.2 that came on the phone when I bought it. The phone spends most of it's time in airplane mode and location services disabled so it shouldn't take much power. With 9.3 it slowly drops day after day like I would expect, with 9.0.2 it would sometimes drop 20% or more in a single day.

My friend and I both have 6s Pluses and noticed our battery being lower than normal in the evenings. Looking at the battery stats everything looked business as usual. I decided to lower the brightness display setting which may or may not have been adjusted during the upgrade (auto brightness was enabled). Disabled the auto brightness setting as well. I am now back to normal battery consumption.

I get about 8 hours of usage, with 30-35 hours on standby, iPhone 6s Plus. I think battery is worse, normally in 9.2.1 i used to get 7-8 hours of usage with 48 hours standby. I think 9.3 in standby is more demanding than 9.2.1

P.S Clean install on 9.3

There's a possibility something might be somewhere, but considering a lot of people aren't seeing anything drastic like that, the likelihood is that it might be more installation/configuration related to some particular devices.
