Looks like you've lasted almost 5.5 hours there with 13% battery still left.

People with poor battery life on 9.3 need to check their configuration and possibly reset their settings. My ongoing A/B comparison is showing no difference to speak of between 8.4.1 and 9.3.

Thats with very light usage.I havent even done an hour of web browing or music as I usually do
But that means it can last more than 3 hours?

In any case, it seems like we've petty midi established that there's something more unique with your device or setup as many others aren't seeing the type of battery usage that you are.

Sir, I am using a 6 plus, on 8.4.1 I can last 7+ Hour without a problem, and on 9.3, I can barely last 6. Thoughts?

I don't know your particular situation and wasn't commenting on it. That said, the typical troubleshooting would likely be the way to go first.

My battery life seems to be slightly diminished, but I have been using more battery intensive applications recently. i.e. waze, top eleven, facebook. It's hard for me to gauge right now.

On all of the devices I have upgraded from 9.2.1 to 9.3, all have shown lower battery life. My iPhone 6s Plus is about 20-25% lower on standby with the same usage and time period over repeated tests. For example, I left a fully charges iPhone 6s Plus on standby for 48hrs (I turned on Airplane mode to eliminate cellular inconsistencies and turned wifi on). The phones was not used. After the 48hrs standby, on 9.2.1 the phone was at 88% and 87%. On 9.3, the phone was at 68% and 65%. I ran this test multiple times before and twice after the upgrade. This was with a clean factory restore to 9.3. This is a significant standby decline. On cellular, it's much worse. This wasn't acceptable to me, so I downgraded back to 9.2.1 and ran the test again with a result after 48hrs of 88%. Obviously, the problem is related to 9.3.

After 30min of use on wifi (same settings & brightness), my iPad Air lost 3-4% on 9.2.1 and 8% on 9.3 - again - 50% worse - over repeated tests. I notice similar increases in battery drain on my iPhone 5 and 5s as well. There is an obvious battery life decline with 9.3, and across all of my devices, it's pretty significant.

I can understand a decline going from 9 to 10, but an incremental shouldn't smash battery like this. The worst part is that Apple doesn't care. The only phone they sell that can get me through a work day now is a Plus variant. Stuck with bricks for years to come it seems.

I agree! At first I thought Apple would certainly at least fix this for their current selling products - iPhone 6s and others. Then I remembered perspective new customers will likely not know the difference, because the reviews were written six months ago and are unlikely to be updated to reflect iOS 9.3 battery degradation & the 9.3 reality of battery life. I keep reading reports about how 9.3 is "Apple most stable" and "best ever" update. Mostly good press, and most users don't seem to notice or care about a battery difference. Unfortunate. I feel like Apple doesn't care. Apple had seven betas for this update, and spent an exorbitant amount of time for a minor update on developing it in an attempt to "get it right," and there are still massive battery problems. Unfortionatly, I feel it will take really bad press or bad reviews all calling out the lower battery to get Apple to address this, and I don't think we'll see it. Especially now, considering I imagine internal development has switched to iOS 10 and this was likely the last real update until its released in the Fall.

All I know is, through my own semi-controlled testing & observations, all of my iOS devices all draining much faster in both use and standby - as much as 20-40% faster.

Given that many people aren't seeing this type of thing, it's not likely something simple or even relatively easy for Apple to investigate, let alone do something about, at least not in any sort of quick manner.

9.3.1 seems to have fixed my iPad Air. Fingers crossed for the iPhone 6...

Both had been showing poor battery life, with usage almost 100% of the time, even when not in use.
[doublepost=1459455131][/doublepost]iPhone 6 wasn't fixed by 9.3.1. After 30 minutes of sitting in my pocket it's lost 6% battery and shows:
Usage 28 mins
Standby 30 mins

:(

Something's going on with your settings or apps. I upgraded one of my iPhone 6 phones last night from 9.3 and it's unchanged. Try a restart or resetting settings. Also check what's running the battery in Settings.

Nothing has changed. Let's give this thread some time to see if my problem is isolated.

I have the same problem on my 6s. I did restart but I don't want to do hard reset. And BTW I was 8 years Android user I don't know why I bought Apple phone. If I majke a deal with AT&T which is my provider I will switch to HTS or Samsung.

P.S.

Version 9.3 was good on my phone. And don't why big company like Apple do the same as Microsoft do to there users. Not much difference between them.

My iPad mini battery is not lasting as long as it used to. Sitting on my nightstand, it used to last a month or more, and now it's barely a week!

And iBooks is a mess!

EDIT: Opps, my bad. I am still on 9.3.

If 9.3.1 isn't any better, I don't know what to do..
