Could you back this information up?

Our household owns several iPhones and iPads. The X, 8, 7, SE all have worse battery life on iOS 13 compared to iOS 12, which was worse compared to iOS 11. And we all got fresh batteries with 100% health around each year or so. So tested fresh.

mines looking pretty bad now too. this is definitely the worst battery life I’ve seen on an iOS device. wonder What Apple would say if I took it in? Shame I don’t live anywhere near one!

so to update this, I took the iPad to an Apple store a couple of weeks before everything closed down, and they said the battery was at 92% health. The technician I spoke with said that if their diagnostics had shown that it was significantly degraded then as they can’t change the batteries in iPads, they would have replaced the whole thing for the cost of a battery replacement (£80ish).

Mine’s at 85% health after 2.5 years (280 cycles) I say it’s about right (80% at 300-400cycle mark). Batteries deteriorate much like iPhones and Macs. I’m keeping mine for about 2 more years and see how the battery holds up. I invested in a 30w charger recently and don’t have to worry that much about recharge speed.

I just got a new iPad Pro under warranty due to the white spots all over my display. Once a 24 month financing plan becomes available on the new iPad Pro - I will pick one up.

the problem is that the correlation between cycles and health can be extremely low...
My 9.7 pro has 97.2 health with 212 cycles while my mini 5 has 87.2% health with just 27 cycles (and is much younger...). My mini 4 has 77% health with 142 cycles...
So it's all over the place... Tested with both Coconut and Imazing... cycles are the same, health is close...

I’m also at 85% with 265 cycle count. I agree, it’s about right.
