Several years ago I bought my first Mac--15.2 alum PowerBook which ultimately led to my addiction to all things Apple.

Since that purchase, I have owned 2 more PowerBooks, a square MacBook, 2 white 13.3 MacBooks, 2 black MacBooks, 5 aluminum MacBooks both 13" and 15", 3 MacBook airs, 2 Mac minis, 6 iMacs and 4 iPhones. I think I am a Mac degenerate. Are there others like me?
Interesting to see that I'm not the only one who can't say goodbye to a Mac.
I hate stuffed animals, but my oldest (died) MacBook has been and is hanging on the wall.
;JOOP!

Seems that this has grown from Mac’s to any Apple product…so

Here's my list. The early ones were hand-me-downs and/or purchased pre-owned.

Fun fact: to this day I never ever paid full price for any Mac. Always had discounts, preowned or some other deal.

Performa 5260 (90' something)
PowerMacintosh 9500 (90's something)
PowerMac G3 blue-and-white
PowerBook G3 "Lombard"
PowerBook G3 "Pismo"
PowerMac G4 "MDD"
Macbook (black) (2007)
iMac 21.5" (2009)
MacBook Pro 15" (2014)
MacBook Pro 15" (2015) <=== still have
iMac 5K (2019) <=== still have
MacBook Pro 16" M1 Pro (2021) <=== still have

Also, there's an iMac G3 "flower power" that I never used but found its way into my hands.

1994 Power Mac 6100 (the original PowerPC 601 desktop)
Powerbook G3 Lombard (bronze keyboard)
A couple of TiBooks and I can't quite recall the progression
2003 (or 2004?) sno-cone iMac G4 15"
Mac Pro 2009 (4.1) which ended up running linux for most of its life
2009 24" iMac
15" Macbook Pro mid 2009 (died shortly after my dad, in early 2014)
15" retina Macbook Pro late 2013 (suffered a fatal accident on the Deutsche Bahn in 2023)
2019 27" iMac 3.7GHz i5-9600KF RX580x 1TB SSD 8+16GB
2023 m2 15" Macbook Air (what I'm typing this on)

Survivors are the latest iMac and the m2 MBA. The 15" m2 Macbook Air
is a sweet machine, and I love it; however had it not been for the accident I
would still be rocking the 2013 rMBP and not missing anything newer for a moment.

Fun fact: the old bronze keyboard Lombard Powerbook G3 was my first real
mobile "personal computer", and was the laptop that took me into a reasonably
successful stint as an independent consultant for a few years. It still works and still
boots (into OS X Tiger, if memory serves; it's been a few months since I booted
it to make sure it still worked). The display is almost illegible thanks to the
backlight lamp wearing out. Nostalgia won't permit me to bin it. I'll entertain
foolishly high offers for it, otherwise my kids will have to toss it when I die.
