iPad Pro How many of you 2018 iPad Pro users are NOT upgrading?

My 12.9" 2018 iPad Pro is still going strong, although battery life isn't as robust as it was back when I bought the device.....since I mostly use it at home, where an electrical plug is handy anyway, the battery life isn't a compelling issue. This year my priorities have been more on photographic gear and I still have a couple of lenses that I want, so probably I won't be buying the new iPad Pro 2020.
Not upgrading from 12.9" '18 512GB Pro.
The keyboard is interesting but the $350 definitely makes me double or triple think it. Glad it isn't available until May, personally.

I am also a Speech-Language Pathologist who travels with my iPad Pro daily with the Smart Keyboard case, I also have no desire to upgrade right away since they will not have a keyboard case at launch. This is essential for my work everyday to have the keyboard case.
Not upgrading. I upgrade my phone every year but almost never do with my iPads.
It seems such a minor refresh it doesn't seem worth upgrading to for current 2018 iPad Pro owners (unless one is upgrading to get more storage/LTE or playing iPad musical chairs or there's am issue with the old iPad).
I was hoping for more... so not upgrading. I don’t need the new features and my 2018 12.9” Pro is doing fine. I may however get the new magic keyboard in May for the Gen 3 12.9 Pro, but $350 plus tax (10%) is a lot for a keyboard. I actually planned on upgrading as I expected something “more” with the new iPad Pro. But I guess a bit released as I can keep the $1600 in my bank account for now! With the whole COVID-19 it may be better to save.

I'm not remotely interested in lidar cameras, and I'm still pretty blown away by speed on what I have. So I'm not overly interested in the actual new iPad release, the keyboard however... I want this.

Yes, it will work.
I kept my 2017 2nd gen 12.9” IPP when the 2018’s came out because there was no compelling reason to spend the money to get all new peripherals. There still isn’t with this refresh. So I’ll stick with what I’ve got, especially since I’m now on month to month AppleCare+.
it’s an Overclocked A12X CPU with the Same 4GB of RAM and the Same display. What there to upgrade to ? Besides Money is tight right now. Daily life essentials are needed. Few people will splurge on iPads.
They actually have a new Smart Keyboard case but it seems like a huge waste of money since the only reason why you can’t use your existing case is because of camera cutout. Honestly who wants to buy a Smart Keyboard after comparing it to the magic keyboard folio? The SK was always the least terrible portable keyboard option for the iPad.
Keeping mine as I have no reason to upgrade, but like most other people, very interested in the new Magic Keyboard (although I am quite happy with the ASK)
Why would anyone with a 2018 IPP need to upgrade for what is just a minor refresh? By all means do it if you want, but what are you gaining aside from bit more power and a better camera that most people don't use anyway?
If I paid full price for the base model 2018 I would consider it but I got a great deal on a 512GB I’ll wait. With this virus going on that puts the nail in the coffin
2018 1tb 12.9”. Given the ram, this isn’t really an upgrade. I had a list of things that I would like to upgrade for and this new model didn’t feature any of them.
Will definitely be waiting for an A14X model, whenever that may be. The power of the 2018 model is great, so it’s no surprise to me that the latest model is very similar. When everyone was talking about A13X vs A14X earlier in the week, I had suspicions that it could actually be neither.
What’s still lacking is the software side to be honest. Hopefully iPadOS 14 has some nice improvements, the mouse support only for iPadOS 13.4 is a great sign IMO.

I have the 2017 iPad pro, and I'm on the fence. Bending issue, white spots (I have white spots on my iPad) and cost are all factors in my decision matrix. Is the 2020 model sufficiently different or improved over the 2017 model to warrant spending a lot of money? The wild card in this is the trackpad support, I can see using the iPad more then I have now simply because of that, but I don't know if that's enough to push it into the buy category.
The updated the old (current) Smart Keyboard without trackpad to fit the new iPad pros. It is available at launch.
