It was easy for me. I had the 6 Plus and 7 Plus, wife has the XS Max. I don't like the bigger form factor, went back down in size when I got the XS and was perfectly happy with it, so I stuck with the 13 Pro. I'm 6'6" with big hands, and still like the smaller form factor better - easy to one-hand, smaller and more convenient to carry around. I don't consume a lot of video content on my phone, don't need the extra battery life of the Pro Max (the Pro easily gets me through a day), and there's no camera upgrade in the Pro Max over the Pro this year.
Personally, yes, I can, and I don't have huge hands. The "one-handed" keyboard option (shifting the entire keyboard to the left or right) makes this a little easier. It's still a bit of a pain, though - due mostly to the 13PM's weight - and usually I find myself texting with two hands. But, anyway, point is, yes: it's possible. Can you use the 13 Pro Max with one hand (for example for texting) as with the 13 Pro?
Not hard at all. Pro max or go home.how many people here find it hard to decide between iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max?

Same with me.I have the 12 mini now and just ordered a 13 Pro. My concern is that, as in the past with other recent Pros, the 13 Pro will be too big and heavy and that I will return it. The Max is not even on my radar. Ever since the phones have added the glass backs they’ve become heavier (and perhaps less fragile). I like to read on my phone lying down in bed and ended up returning both the 11 and 12 pros because they were just too heavy. Also, I take my phone with me when I run (for now I have a GPS AW and want to be reachable in case of emergency). The mini has been GREAT to take on runs and I fear that the Pro will be too large and heavy to carry with me comfortably. We shall see. My hope is that the camera features/improvements make up for the size and weight. Other factors are battery (killing me on the 12 mini) and the keyboard size (make typos constantly).
I don’t think anyone was allowed to walk around in Australia nowadays.I don't and I don't know anyone that needs to walk around with a phone in their pocket all day lol
Update: I was dead set on keeping the Max but changed my mind. Yesterday I was holding my 2 year old son while trying to type a quick but urgent message to my wife on the Max one handed. I ended up dropping the phone on the concrete because its almost impossible to type one handed on the Max. Luckily there was no damage to the phone but I knew right in that moment that the smaller Pro is better for my lifestyle. This was my exactly conclusion. I had both the Pro and Max side by side for 2 weeks trying to decide. I literally lost sleep thinking about it but ultimately chose the Max. Coming from a 11 Pro Max and XS Max before that everything on the Pro screen seemed "small" to me. I loved holding the Pro its WAY more comfortable to use but doing my daily tasks (texting, email, social media, watching Youtube) I missed the bigger screen. The Max is obviously more cumbersome and heavier but I think I'm willing to make that sacrifice for that screen and battery life.
Same concerns for me with mini - battery and typos with two handed. Typing with one hand is far more better for me. That’s why I’m thinking about 13 and not 13 mini.I have the 12 mini now and just ordered a 13 Pro. So I finally upgraded yesterday from an iPhone X to a 13 Pro. I’d dithered about the max having the amazing battery and the larger screen for reading emails etc etc. Now I’ve had it a day I can declare two things with certainty ( for me, of course …. five of you will have eight opinions between you ?) : first of all, battery is already incredible compared to the X so I certainly don’t feel I should have gone max just for that; secondly, even though you can feel them in the shops and find cans in the kitchen that weigh about the same to test it out at home ( did I just admit doing that?), in real life the Pro alone is enough of a weighty beast over the X to make me glad I wasn’t tempted to go large.how many people here find it hard to decide between iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max?
Update: I ended up getting the 13 Pro Max... only to return it a week later.... and got the 13 Mini.![]()
Which is not much popular opinion these days. I agree with you as right now I‘m using 12 mini. But worrying about battery is the only thing I’m not even thinking about mini because going with bigger device and bigger battery means it will last longer. I don’t want to spend another large sum of money to see 11% decreasing of Battery Health in less than a year. I know 13 mini would be better but this is something that worries me a lot. You can always replace battery a move on for another years but it just don’t make me sense this way. Sadly mini’s are pocketable and mobile but also are battery worrying. Personally. To me a phone should be mobile, i.e. being pocketable and one-handable. The Pro is the way to go.
