Well no updates to the TNT tracking, so still looks like it's stuck in Shanghai.

I've emailed the apple store through there online form to see whats going on. When I ordered it I was told it would be with me today, and the estimated delivery date appears to be slipping daily with it still aparently not moving from shanghai. At this rate it would have been quicker to wait until the local John lewis had one in and nip over for one in my lunch hour...

Ditto here.

It seems increasingly unlikely that they're going to arrive by Monday. Stuck in Shanghai since Saturday...

If you get no satisfactory response from your email, I'll call the apple store and find out what they're going to do about it.

Clearly the email to Apple, and the very mention of my calling them has got things moving. Thus is the influence wielded by the MacRumors forum members :p

Yes, from Amsterdam (in my experience) means the consignment should be in the UK tomorrow, and then possible final delivery tomorrow too. But yes, by the weekend is a definite likelihood now. :)

That'll be impressive performance if indeed the consignment is still in the Netherlands.

Maybe Apple know something TNT tracking isn't telling us...

Well TNT still says it's in Amsterdam so either the TNT tracking page is out of date or TNT are lieing to Apple

I think the tracking page only seems to update every couple of days and
is only accurate to what continent the package is in.

I'll be happy for delivery on Friday and delighted if before. Not sure if TNT would try to delivery at the weekend.

Well today isn't going to happen despite what Apple might be telling me. But I'm hoping for tomorrow.

Progress...

Hopefully it'll transfer to the UK overnight, out for delivery tomorrow? At least, it's looking good for delivery by the weekend (barring any more "Potential Connection Delays").

...I've had only positive experience purchasing from the Apple Store and I'm sure it was TNT who delivered on at least one of those occasions....
I guess you're blessed with luck and looks then 'cause they've always screwed up deliveries to me somewhere. My iMac got from China to the UK in something like 2days then took 5days to complete the last leg of the journey that I can do in about 1½hrs.
They had such a hard time not fucikng-up deliveries to me they threw in the towel and AppleStore Online doesn't even take orders from Jersey anymore.

Mine too according to the TNT tracking page. I've emailed Apple again, this is getting silly really. They're telling me one thing and TNT tracking is telling me something different.

Mine's still in Arnhem...

Prospects for pre-weekend delivery are not looking so bright now. Unless the tracking is misleading us, of course. Who knows. Let's see what Apple have to say this time!

I'm betting if I get a reply from Apple it will say the same as yesterday. TNT should deliver today. And I bet they'd say the same now every day until it gets delivered.

Oh and mine still says Amsterdam so yours has got further than mine lol

Actually, the tracking seems pretty flakey compared to the last few times I've bought from the Apple Store. I seem to remember that usually the TNT tracking notes when consignments have left places (hubs etc.) - not just when they've been received - and when they're in the air; being transported from the Netherlands to the UK, for example. Some of those things appear to be missing this time, which is strange...

I would have expected the transfer from the Netherlands to the UK to at least be in progress (and noted in the tracking) by now; the MBPs have no reason to remain Amsterdam/Arnhem longer than overnight.

And that some individual consignments are still listed in the tracking as being in Amsterdam raises futher doubts about TNT's tracking credibility. It seems unlikely that the UK-destined MBP consignment has been split up.
