Although it's clear the only purpose of your post is to attack ... I will show you the courtesy of a response to set the record straight.
If you are going to respond to my earlier post Don't Lie, and Make Up Things.
Looks like someone's a bit touchy
In no way was my post an attack. Merely stating facts.
Here are the Facts
Clearly Stated from my earlier post which you are either confused about. Or too lazy to go back and check
1) I ordered a BTO fully maxed out MBPr with the 768GB SSD. I did _NOT_ claim I got it a month before everyone else... YOU made that up.
Well, I'm incredibly offended about how you think I'm too lazy to go back and check.
Does
this post not say you got it on 6/16?
Yet, nobody else seemed to have been able to procure a 768GB model for at least two to three weeks after your post.
Perhaps I was incorrect to say one month, and I do apologize for that- what I should have said is '
well before anyone else'. That still doesn't negate my point though.
How the heck would either of us know who else got what, when, ... considering they were being shipped out by the thousands?
If anything, that just proves my point. Isn't it a bit strange that, out of the
thousands that were being shipped out, you were the only one on MR who had a 768GB model? Yes, I know that you said that your friends had a few too, but that's still just your claims. Nobody else said that they, or their buddies, had recieved a 768 model.
2) I did NOT Refuse to post a Screenshot, I was away on a business trip in New York using my MBA .
I specifically stated my MBPr was at home, repackaged in it's original box since I decided to get rid of it.
How very convenient. I guess the computer was sold before you got back home, right?
3) I bought a second MBPr for my wife.
Just so you don't get the math wrong, that's Two MBPr's that I bought immediately upon that models release.
Nobody was denying that. Not sure what the point of mentioning that was, did I accidentally say that you have 3? Are you insinuating that I'm incapable of reading now?
For your own sake, at least be responsible enough, to know what you are talking about before you post.
Twisting the facts around to suit you is horribly disrespectful.
I'm completely against twisting facts around, and would be the first to admit it if I did that. However, try as I might, I cannot figure out where I 'twisted' the facts. I stated that you 1) bought 2 rMBPs (correct), 2) claimed to have the 768GB model (correct), 2) got it way before anyone else said they got theirs (correct), 3) did not post a screenshot (correct).
Look, I'm not here to argue, and my post was most certainly not an attack. I merely found it curious how you were running Snow Leopard on your Retina Pro. Now that I see you're using an old MacBook Air my interest has been satiated.
Go easy on the post formatting and anger with which you posted and have a nice day
