~$150.00 for two iPhones, 1500 texts each and 1400 shared minutes.

How do you figure $150?
Voice $69 700 min
data $60 30 per phone
text $30 15 per phone
taxes at least $12
total around $170 minimum

Just asking because I'm considering adding my wife to my plan. Do you have a special discount or something?

Hi, i'm 15(turning 16 in november) and is thinking about getting an iphone when i get a job. Setting that aside, how much do you pay a month and what are you paying for?

I mainly text, email, browse the internet, not much calling.

thanks, danny.

We have a family plan with three iPhones, two blackberrys. The bill is usually around $250, family messaging, data plans for four phones, all the iPhones, 1100 minutes, early nights. Talk your Dad into a family plan.

AUD$59 a month for

$680 worth of calls
Unlimited SMS and MMS
700mb data

$49 cap = $200 worth of calls, texts and MMS to any Australian phone + $50 worth of calls, texts and MMS to a Telstra mobile per month (so, ultimately, $250 worth of calls/texts a month).
$10 data = 180MB of data per month.

Is this an australian thing? Don't you get a certain amount of minutes and texts etc?

Sounds a bit strange to me to say "I'm going to buy myself $200 worth of minutes for 50 bucks". :)

That's the way it works in Australia. They buy a plan and it includes a dollar amount in services (texts, calls, and MMS) for a set fee. Over that you pay normal rates. They also have free incoming calls. Just the way it works there.

Yeah, it is an Australian thing. It took me a bit of time to wrap my mind around 200 minutes of calls.

I'm on pre-paid, at the moment i'm paying $15aud per month and i get 30 minutes free to use with other Telstra numbers.
I love my unlocked outright iPhone.

This might be the "$49 cap = $200 worth of calls" thats being referred to: http://www.telstra.com.au/mobile/plans/3g_nextg_cap_plans.html I hope that helps.

In the U.S.
2 iPhones each with unlimited data & 200 text messeges
700 Shared Minutes
I pay $130.75

Normal bill $140
Taxes $7.65
FAN Discount (from my work) $16.90

$102.12

I have an iPhone and 200 texts
The wife has a Razr (no data) and 200 texts
We share $550 minutes
We also get 15% off with a fan discount

Not too shabby.

What plan do you currently have with Rogers?

I'm on fido.

I got:

- 100 mins + unlimited weekends and evenings + unlimited texting - which is $30
- 6 gigs of data - which is $30 (though I wish I could pay like $10 and get 1 gig instead)
- iPhone "value" pack - which is $10 (this is for Call ID and VVM, I think)
- I had them remove the system access fee (6.95) and what not

So, 30 + 30 + 10 = 70 * 1.14 = $79.8 (but I go over a lot)

I dunno ... it's an *OK* plan, but I need to retool it again soon.

our current bill (first one without pro-rated stuff or upgrade fees) is $147.94.

that's for 2 phones on the family plan with a FAN (15%). 59.99 voice, 9.99 for 2nd phon, 2 X 30 for data, 15.00 unlimited text and 5.00 200 text plus all sorts of additional taxes added on!

I'm on a special employee plan so i pay $0 a month for unlimited data, 3000 texts and unlimited calls to other Telenor subscribers. :D

But to get the iPhone i had to take out a contract on another line so i'm paying $21 per month on that..

$159

family plan with 4 phones. iphone 3G, 3GS and 2 Samsung A237's. 700 minutes and no texting.
