My monthly Bill is 20 EUR (= 26 USD, 16 GBP) with o2 in Germany.

This includes:
Unlimited minutes to o2
Unlimited messages to all carriers (4 major ones here)
Unlimited Data
100 minutes to all carriers (other than o2)
any additional minute would be 0.29 EUR (= 0.38 USD, 0.24 GBP), never had to use it though.

In Germany you don't have to pay for incoming calls or messages, so these are unlimited as well. I got my íPhone 4 32 GB unlocked from the apple online store for 740 EUR (= 966 USD, 616 GBP).

For a 2 year span my total costs are 1220 EUR (= 1593 USD, 1015 GBP) or 50 EUR (= 65 USD, 41 GBP) per month during that 2 year span including the iPhone. And I have to add, that I received a 150 EUR (= 196 USD, 124 GBP) gift certificate for signing the contract.
