Currently I ahve:

3 iPhones on a family plan
700 mins
Unlimited text + unlimited m2am
2 Unlimited data, one 250MB
15% FAN discount

Total runs something like $190/month after all the BS taxes and fees are counted.

I dont think it is. They dont even offer the 450 family minutes anymore. A 3 line package with 550 minutes is 59.99. 2gb data isnt offered anymore either lowest is 3gb for $30 each line, thats already $120 then add unlimited family text for $20 plus taxes and its over $150-160. I dont even want the 450 minutes, i want less but they wont give it to me. ATT is expensive but the 20% keeps it cheaper. I wish i could be under $100 but not happening :|. verizon and tmobile are horrible in north jersey where i am.

How does StraightTalk Work. I am looking to get out from Verizon but I am looking to get an iPhone and the options seem very limited.

I want an iPhone with minimal data and low minutes on a family plan w/ my wife whom just wants a dumb phone. Currently between the two of us we have a 550/min plan and don't use all of them.

I don't want to pay over $80/month for both lines which I think is reasonable.

Straight Talk is $45/month.....its already over by $10 from ur $80...lol

here's their plans, they do not offer "Family plans" bc all their plans except the $30 include unlimited calling/texting/data(~2-3GB/Month before they get upset)

You have the option to pre-pay 3, 6, or 12 months in advance...which lowers the price down to roughly $42/month.....

Three smartphones on a Verizon family plan
700 shared anytime minutes
Unlimited text
Unlimited data
$210/month ($~238 after taxes)

It looks like it's close to impossible to have a smartphone along with an additional line for under $100/month which just seems crazy to me.

well luckily you prepay the 12 months. I was on straight talk for awhile and they ticked me off how much they would contact me to refill my account.

They would email you like 3-4 times
They would text you 3-4 times
They even resorted to CALLING you 3-4 times

They would seriously start contacting you 2 weeks before the refill would expire.

Service was fine, but damn, chill out on bothering your customers. It's one thing that made me leave and switch back to AT&T.

My 4S in SIM free, when at home in Portugal I put in 20€ per month Vodafone PAYG which includes 500mb of data - usually only use half of it. When I'm in UK £20 per week PAYG on O2 which includes unlimited data (I make a lot more calls when in UK)

The subject is "how much is your monthly iPhone bill" .

Who really gives a rat's ass how much you pay for your flip phone?

I'm on The One plan, it rules!

Three are the only company in the UK with a HSPA+ network and they also have a strong 3G network nearly everywhere, as well as being better value than most of the other networks.

I wish I had known this when I bought my phone 'cause I would have gone with them instead of O2. I had a bad experience with Three in the past and judged them by their old standards.

I get 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB data for £32 a month.

I use Three for my iPad data and when I have both my iPad and phone with me, it gets a strong signal in all of the O2 dead spots I've used it in.

5 smartphones (3 iPhones)
1400 shared minutes
Unlimited text, unlimited data

$200 per month (plus or minus $5 for taxes)

I was grandfathered in and got a bunch of different discounts. I am never switching plans or carrier!

15 euros a month:

- 2GB of data
- 1000 texts for free + 1000 texts to the same network for free
- calling: 24c a minute (15euros cover a month of calling)

Happy camper really :)

Almost $150 for two iPhones on family plan.

Stop bringing the self-righteous takes on how inexpensive your not-iPhone brick of plastic plans are.

What, "Two paper cups and a long string. $0 per month. I use my computer for everything else" doesn't want any of this thread? News for you: unless you're teaching guinea pigs to row hydroelectric power from your aquarium to your phone, you're lazy and wasteful. Where's "I only use smoke signals on my green plan that pays me to use it" guy? He'll be in soon to correct me with "they're synthetic, carbon monoxide-free puffs of steam, dude."

€20, Pay as you Go, Three Ireland.

Free Three to Three calls
Free texts to any network
Free weekend calls
Unlimited Internet

There are cheaper plans on other operators but I hate contracts.

Heh, I reckon most Belgians here are Vikings ;)

You should look in to Jumblo. As long as you've got 3G coverage it works great and it only costs 3,5 cents a minute to Belgian mobiles and 2 cents a minute to Belgian land lines.

But I'm super envious of the French, I would like to see something like their Free here as well. 20 euro per month and unlimited everything to everyone, including international calls to some countries!

£25 (€30, $40) a month, including taxes:

2000 minutes to any UK Mobile/Landline
5000 minutes to other customers with the same carrier
5000 SMS
Unlimited Data (including unlimited Tethering)

Three UK's "The One Plan"

Hey guys i have nextel service (not with ppt) duh! And I have 500min to talk to another nextels and 200 min to talk else where.
3gb of data plan.
All this for 40 bucks

iPhone 4S and I pay $50 a month before taxes, $55 after taxes and fees.

I am with Sprint and have the SERO Premium plan.

This includes unlimited data, unlimited texts, unlimited calling to any mobile number. For landline calls I get 500 anytime minutes a month from 7AM to 7PM M-F and unlimited landline calls outside that time. Pretty great plan imo and Sprint coverage where I live is fantastic.

Since I use my phone for personal and business calls I easily exceed 3,000 minutes a month and also about 10GB of data and about 1,500 texts. So having unlimited everything is perfect for my needs.
