Just curious, which price direct TV plan do you have? (to get the $40 iPad unlimited plan)

Also what price does it go up to after the first 12-months of the 24-month direct TV contract?
No idea. It's my dad's plan. Since he had extra lines available, I figured I'd just get an iPad with one of them.

I was paying $159...on contract...with the old unlimited data plan. After looking at my data usage over the past few years and needing to drastically raise our minutes (wife's new job requires a lot of phone time) we decided to move to a shared plan. Offered us the 20GB data rollover plan for $100...and also moved both our phones to upgrade status so we're paying a $15 line fee instead of $40. Was in chat with the agent for over an hour and a half bargaining!
I would for sure not have done that..you will regret itforever. .unbundled att unlimited data is gone forever... now you will always have to watch your data usage and if you get a rogue app downloading massive data overnight then you will pay overages.....you should have retentions switch your acct back to what u had...they have 60 days adter u switched it to switch it back. Then call few times and ask for couple thousand bonus rollover minutes if they say no to that then make sure your number is the primary. Then switch your wife to cricket ...for 35 after auto pay. Unlimited talk and text ..then you switch yor line to the 29.99 grandfathered 300 minute individual rollover plan. 10 buck unl text. And 35 buck unlimited data. yors will be about 70 total. Wifes will be 35 total. Ucan always get capped data plan but u never will be able to get unbundled unlimited att data again.u may not be using much data now but u will in future 5g is coming

He's already done it, and he seems ok with it. Why bother with a paragraph of projection? You aren't him, and I'm not you, and that's OK.

Just wanted to let him know that if hes having second thoughts that he still has about 30 days to switch back to his old plan...and glad to see you enjoyed reading my paragraph so much

EE (UK)
iPhone 6
Sept 2014
24 month contract:

Unlimited calls
Unlimited text

No throttling
'Wi-Fi calling' facility enabled & working well.
£44.00 per month ($63.72 as of 06/11/16)
…………

Sim free data EE (UK) used in 4G 'double speed tech' modem Huawei B-315 (no external antennae as they are rubbish) for home wi-fi connected to Time Capsule + airport express cat 6 so wi-fi around the house.

100GB a month (stops at 100GB so no nasty surprises)
No throttling
£49.50 per month ($70.56 as of 06/11/16)
50 mb DL (rural area no possibility of broadband).
CCTV works 100% fine.

No land line as crackly & never used.(also farmer cut the line by mistake on his quad bike but wasn't used anyway)

In the UK, numbers that start with 01, 02 and 03 are normally free to call from a mobile depending on the tariff. However, I think nowadays most UK tariffs do NOT charge for these numbers. Numbers that start with 08 are not included in the tariff and therefore, if you phone a number that starts with 08, you'll need to pay and it'll be added to your next bill.

the 0800 & 0808 and 08000 freephone numbers are now free from a mobile its just the nasty premium rate 0845 & 0870 etc
The Isle of Man is one to watch if phoning a mobile there, from UK mainland, Skype needed! IOM Manx Telecom seem expensive

4 lines (unlimited talk, text & web) for $120 USD on TMO. Service is great on the NE, and I love free tethering and intl data.

4 Lines:

iPhone - AT&T Next $25
iPhone - AT&T Next $21.25
Samsung - AT&T Next $14.61
iPhone - AT&T Next $18.75

Unlimited Data Plan $180 w/ $40 bill credit of 4th line.

My bill is normally $300+

$169/month on AT&T, unlimited talk and text, 15gb shared data. That's for 3 lines and one line does have an AT&T next charge. Then I have a separte charge of $40.75 for my iphone upgrade plan thingy.

Metro PCS (T-Mobile)
1 line
Unlimited talk,text and LTE data
$60/month taxes, fees included already

Around $375 on T-Mobile, but that's including 10 voice/data lines and 1 data only tablet line. This factors in device payment plans as well.

Globe (PH)
₱999 (around US$20)
3GB LTE data (add another $20 for unlimited data if needed)
Unlimited Globe-to-Globe calls and texts
iPhone 5S

Just for fun because I have a lot of phones, I have 5 lines on T-Mobile for $140 Unlimited calls/texts, 10 GB data each line.

All my phones are paid for, I buy them outright so I can buy the next big phone whenever that happens.

Can I ask do you have a large family or are they for staff? I guess 5 lines is 5 phones.

All mine. I have a 5S, 6+, 6S, 6S+, Note 5, Note 4, Note Edge, 2 S7 Edge. 5 out of 6 of those phones are activated and one of them is on a $30 T-Mobile prepaid that I occasionally refill just for fun. I like to be able to take one of the phones with me and still get calls and texts from the Note Edge which has my phone # that I give out. I use a Gear S watch with that phone so I can leave the phone home, take any other phone with me and get calls and texts on the watch from my main number which is on the phone that I left home.

And people think I have a lot of phones. I have a iPhone 4, Note 4, 2 iPhone 6. One is for work. The iPhone 4 gets activated when I feel like using a smaller and jailbroken iPhone. The Note 4 is my main phone but I use the iPhone more for iMessage?

How many do you carry to school/work? I honestly can't imagine having more than one, but I do see quite a few people with two (even people who don't have a work and a personal phone, I'm speaking more of high school-aged kids)...

Would anyone like to give me any advice? It may be a lost cause...

We have at&t, with 2 iphones and pay $199.00

$100 a month for unlimited talk, txt, 15gb data to share

$16 for the phone's insurance

$30 for both phones next line access

$37 for iphone 6 plus next fee

$32 for iphone 6 next fee

Thats a total of $215 but i get like 23% off from work, we always owe $199.00

Anyone think i can come out cheaper going to T mobile, or changing options with at&t? Our phones will be paid for this month so we are about to owe $69 dollars less i assume because we wont be paying for them.

Any advice?

I guess $100 for the talk txt and data isnt too terribly bad with at&t considering it would be $45x2 even with straight talk its $90 for both phones and thats with less data. Would save the insurance and next line access fees i guess...

Thanks for all your input! Greatly appreciated.

I don't pay for my phone bill. The company pays £18.00 for my phone. It's a SIM Only deal with EE. I get Unlimited calls and texts, and 8GB data. We are an Authorised Stockist for EE, so we get a kickback from them for my number as well :)

I would first call Retentions department, you can reach them by calling 611 and choosing the option to cancel your line.

You can have them upgrade your 15GB to 20GB, still for the same price. And also add the Canada Roaming Bonus, and Mexico Roaming. So that's a few more data allowance for you and added roaming features.

Not a lot I know about reducing your bill anymore without compromising your data allowance with AT&T, unless T-Mobile does the 2 lines for $100 unlimited data promo again and you're willing to switch.
