28.9 gb left from 64gb.. Lots of music, ItunesU, podcasts.. 4gb of apps...

I probably have it maxed out, but i found out about air video so im set!

I'm a little worried already, first day and I have 11GB left on my 16. But I haven't even started putting my full resolution photos on it. it's gonna fill up fast once I get a couple hundred 4MB pictures into pictures. I love this thing for pdf books. I'm trying to keep the podcasts off it for now, but I might start filling it up with video podcasts quickly as well. I should have got the 64GB :(

Don't worry to much about the full res photos i put over 8 gig of full res 10 megapixel photos right from my canon xt on it and it reduced it to about 2 gig

I have 12 gigs free, I keep my audio on my iPod, I need it more on a small device for when I bike. The apps take up the most space, when I get a little more $ I have a few productivity apps to buy.

Why don't you bike with the iPad? Isn't there a belt clip attachment? :D

GB's

I hear ya on how many GB's people are at, for I was just in your shoes, and took the 64GB plunge.
If you are not loading it with video then no need for a 64GB. The digital movies that comes with DVD/Blu Rays take up about 2.5GB, depending on length. Pictures do not take up too much room. My Sony eReader books are very minimal in size, so don't worry about books, though I am not sure if the iPad uses more space, so don't quote me on that.
16GB is good if you know all the tricks of air sharing, and such.
32GB is safe incase you add movies.
64GB I think is for people with a huge library of video, music, photos, etc.

My 16GB iphone does not cut it, but I use my 80GB ipod classic as my music source and always will.... Because it's full.

I already have 8GB worth of apps on mine and I don't really have that many apps yet. I could easily see having four times as many or more in six to twelve months.
