The question still remains to be answered as to whether or not Apple will disable your iTunes account after using these cards. There was some talk about them knowing which cards are being sold by people who most likely stole the credit cards that were used to pay. I'm not entirely sure if this is the case or how long it would take Apple to catch up with each buyer, but if my iTunes account were disabled just because I wanted to save a chunk of change I'd be out quite a bit considering the hundreds of dollars I've spent on TV shows. The music is not so much of a problem as I can back it up to MP3 and reimport.

I bought mine about 4 months ago and my account was never disabled. Maybe it's just luck?

It seems to me that Apple would have a tough time justifying terminating your account for BUYING a stolen gift card without knowing that it is stolen. Maybe for selling a stolen gift card, but not for buying one. How do you know whether or not it is stolen? (I mean, obviously they probably are, but you can't know one way or the other).

Did you just buy the itunes giftcard from ebay? or did you have to search for the itunes giftcard on http://search.live.com/cashback 1st? I am trying to decide whether I should use the 10% coupon or just buy the card and hopefully I get the 25% cashback. Problem is I dont see anything anywhere about a 25% discount.

i just search live.com for any product, then click on the top link:

then it'll show up on ebay and you can search for whatever you want within that hour and the discount will apply.
