No different than iOS 9.0 aside from Apple said they fixed. Why would anyone think otherwise? It was a 34mb update with its fixes clearly listed to consumers and devs.

Noticeably snappier on 6 Plus. Way fewer frames dropped in multitasking and with swipe down. Faster home screen swiping and app opening.

9.0.1 fixed all the lag on my 6 until I turned on my 6s. Also, some apps get stuck when trying to launch. The lag is real yo

How's it running for you? Are you lagging? Buttery smooth? Dying after an hour?

No good for me. Stopped syncing CalDav and CardDav without a note. I just recognized because some colleagues dodged me on having missed some meetings. We can't fix it on my IOS9 while all other devices on earlier IOS levels just work fine. Thanks Apple!

Some text overlapping in apps. One was from increasing text size. But, I did not max the setting out. Other is start and stop times on Do Not Disturb overlap. Not sure if that was in 9.0.

Performance has been okay for me on my Plus.

However I'm having problems moving emails to folders. I move them and then they are right back into the in box. This happens only when I use the buttons to move multiple emails at once.

9.1 beta 2 still has these issues.

I've discovered something about Notes. Plug your iPhone into your computer, log into iCloud, change or update a note: A new one is added instead of just updating the note that is already there. It used to be that it would update the note and not add duplicates. Totally idiotic.

I have such a stupid question that I wish I could ask it anonymously. New phone and new iOS, manual backup from my desktop. I was outside today, and the phone wouldn't allow me listen to my music unless I was on cellular data or wifi. Same thing with the calendar. I know this is stupid, but why? Clearly I don't want to use cellular data when I'm listening to my own library, calendaring, etc. What am I missing? (I've come from a 5, where none of this applied). I've roamed settings, and I can't seem to figure this out.

In advance, thank you.

PS, not noticing any huge advantage on battery, either.

Updated my 6 to 9.0 and 9.01 OTA. Performance is quicker but not buttery smooth. Still hesitation when scrolling sites like tapatalk

try turning data off for music and go into the music settings itself and turn off Apple Music. Re sync music

Did all the data stuff for the music, and settings in the first place a few times (which didn't do anything). I then resynced the entire phone as you suggested, and voila! it worked. Many thanks.

Seemingly better standby time for me

My 5s is really lagging and apps are a bit slow at opening. Oh well, hope for the upcoming updates to improve those things on the 5s. Works REALLY REALLY well on the 6s.

I restored back to 9.0.1, after being on 9.1 beta 2 for a couple of days. It gave me a nice comparison of the feel of both and to me, 9.1 beta 2 runs better on my 6+. I'm sticking with the beta.

With battery saver mode on I took off the charger at 7:30am now 6:30. I still have 44% on my phone and I have the phone at 50% brightness so not bad for the 1st full day and I have no overheating issue at all with my gold iPhone 6S

There's a glitch with the Nook reading app on iOS 9 - the touchscreen functionality is limited; I spent 40 minutes on chat and 20 minutes on the phone with the B&N people and they're trying to work on a fix. Don't think this impacts many of you, but thought to mention it.

Don't ask me how much I was tapping on my poor screen and deleting and reinstalling the app before we determined this!

How's the 9.1 beta on a 5s? Mine has started to lag more often now on 9.0.1

Ended up turning reduce transparency and motion on

iOS 9.0/9.0.1 has been good to my iPhone 5s and iPad Air, and they prefer it to what any of the iOS 8 versions had to offer... happy iDevices happy life.

Eventually I started to get lag on 9.0.1 but then I decided to reset all settings (I hate doing this cause setting up touch I.D is a pain) and so far I haven't noticed as much lag. Cc opens smoothly, swiping down on the home page into spotlight is smooth (although I never used spotlight in iOS 8 and doubt I will now)
Opening apps seem to be *slightly* faster.

On my Air 2 and iP6s it feels like an old android phone. I didn't update my iP6 which is jailbroken on 8.4

5s & 9.0.1

I think my battery might be dropping faster..
But my TouchID is working a little more reliably.
