I have 2 x 1gb modules added to the mac pro. It only has the "heat spreders" no heat sinks up until about a week ago i had no problems. But for some reason whenever I do this one specific task it's now over heating. So I literally spent all of yesterday driving around my city looking for heatsinks. No luck at all!@!

Anyone have any suggestions to buy heatsinks online? Thanks

yeah, you can get just the sinks from here. You might need to peel off the heatspreaders, tho.

Best of luck!

p.s. how did you know they were overheating? Are you running a temp monitor? which one?
