Battery life has been fine so far. But just today it's started doing something odd. I had it on the (wireless) charger and it showed 93% charged, but didn't change after like 10 minutes. I thought that was odd. Plugged it in and it continued to say 93%. Powered down and back on - 98%. Put it on the charger again: 97% and has said so for the last 10 minutes again. If it keeps up like this it's going to need to go back. I had enough games with my iPhone 6 battery doing it's magic freefalls from 40% to 1%, staying at 1% for an hour, plugging in and jumping immediately to 65%.

Jeebus, it just keeps going, so I did a 100% charge yesterday at around 11:45a, it's 8:57p, here's my current stats:
Current power: 3%
Usage: 12hr, 10m
Standby: 32h, 23m

Mine isn’t great so far, but I know it’s not been long enough to accurately gage.
First off. I'm loving the X. The screen and camera are incredible. However, my wife and I both have the X and battery life doesn't seem to be all that great so far. We are coming from 7plus's.

Stand by: 7h28 mins. Current battery percentage 40%.
Low right? Plenty of internet tests have shown the X is a decent amount lower in minutes than the 7plus. Are people really getting as good as their plus's?

I'm a little over 7 hours usage and at 6%. Starting to get worried. There's such a large gap between what people are experiencing. Does anyone know how many days it takes for the battery to start working correctly? Someone mentioned above that it takes a few days for the battery to work right.
Because you turned it off or reset it. Need to charge back up to 100% and it will show usage.
That was what I got when I hit 1% today. 8h10m and 15 hours off the charger.
Coming from a regular size 6,7,8 that's decent... But coming from a Plus that's not very good.
With my 7+ and similar usage I was seeing about 7-8 hours use too. To each their own.
I did charge unto 100% last night ran down to 3% now still not showing

The Facebook and YouTube apps are the two biggest battery offenders. 8-10 hours is your expected range.
Three different phones and neither are performing well in terms of battery life. How’s yours looking?
The fix is easy. Do not restore from back up and set up as a new phone. Check the battery status in settings to see what’s actuslly eating away the battery.
Installed the 11.2 beta 4 yesterday. Phone just turned off with 24 hour standby 7 hours usage. I have it st 90% brightness as I’m blind and want a tan. I’m happy with this. My 18 month old 6splus got about 5 hours at most it was horrific on iOS 11
